Russa is an elegant and timeless scent. The fragrance is reminiscent of classic Italian eau de colognes, very clean, citrusy and natural. The scent is perfect for spring and summer and really reminds me of visits to my family in Procida. An absolutely beautiful and sophisticated cologne. Top notch customer service too.

I was sent a small, and I mean small sample of violet cologne. It came in a small spray container, but the liquid itself wasn't even enough to reach the uptake tube so nothing came out when I sprayed it. Sad. Maybe it evaporated or leaked out.It smell of alcohol but it didn't dry down. There were a couple of different notes; vanilla being one but I only smelled one note which was sweet. I hate to say this because Customer Service was so kind and patient and lovely but the scent was cheap, even after it died down.

Russa is so uplifting and fresh. The notes are quite complex, so while it may be a short lived cologne, it isn’t simple. I wish it had matching body products to lengthen the wear, but I just carry a travel spray with me to top up. That’s the beauty of having the bottle come in splash form with an atomiser in the box so you have the option to decant the liquid into a smaller spray bottle. Russa is particularly good for long mind numbing trips or those mid-afternoon slumps when I could reach for the chocolate, but spritz instead for the healthier option. I love it so much I don’t miss the chocolate one bit!
