WOW! Love the mount. Tricky to put together. Follow instructions. Easiest adjustment ever. Strong, durable and well made. Even has a key on side to lock adjustment setting. Wish price was lower though. Highly recommended!

Very high quality projector mount. This is actually manufactured by Chief which is known to be one of the best projector mount manufacturers out there. Very easy to adjust on the fly. Love the locking feature.

Worked great on my Sony projector. Also like that it has a black and off-white ring that goes around the actual ceiling mount. I used the off-white ring to blend in with the ceiling better and all you see is a clean tube coming from the ceiling to the projector.

I just spent over 4 hours fighting with this projector mount and still couldn't get it to work. A $220+ mount should take <20 minutes to install and should be utterly easy to use... and, of course, it should work. The single worst problem was the "locking" system the mount tried to implement. There are a series of 4 holes on the swivel mount section of the ceiling pieces and 4 pegs on the projector piece. Once the ceiling pieces are installed on the ceiling and the projector piece is installed on the projector, you are to simply insert the pegs into the holes, slide the pegs sideways 1/2 inch and then pull a lever to "lock" it all in place. In theory it sounds great, however, the pegs would not simply slide over, I had to use a hammer to get them to move over. In theory it sounds great, however, the pegs would not simply slide over, I had to use a hammer to get them to move over. And even once I got them over there, the lever wouldn't "lock". I tried everything I could think of, and I've done this a half-dozen times before with various mounts and projectors. Nothing worked.Other than that, the threaded drop down pipe was threaded such that the other pieces would not easily screw back off of it. The swivel mount piece would not come off the threaded pipe after I put it on.As I said, I spent over 4 hours fighting with this mount and never got it to work. I returned it to the store for a full refund, purchased a $100 mount elsewhere and had my projector mounted and working in 20 minutes after I got home.Don't waste your money on this item, you don't always get what you pay for.
Solid mount. I’m not willing to hang a 30 pound, $3k+ piece of equipment on a questionable piece of hardware from a no name place, so, this is the one for me. Comes with a black or white bezel for the ceiling, which is nice. I don’t think it matters since it is barely visible with the stubby post. Maybe it would matter with the longer post. Rest of the hardware is black though .I used this to mount my epson 5050UB monster in my basement under high traffic area. There is virtually no bounce when people walk around upstairs. It seems expensive, but the fine adjustment works with the projector hanging, which is the real nice part. And I didn’t have any fear that the mount would fail or drop the projector.
I needed a ceiling mount for my projector and this fit the bill the most.It has convenient to access screws and tons of adjustable elements, so it was super easy to install my projector. The wires could be threaded through the tube in the center for a cleaner look. It also includes a key for locking the projector in place for added security in a commercial setting. It came with two lengths for the tube, but I opted to order an even shorter one for my purposes.A bit pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for.
This product is great, it comes with complete kit, no part missing. Very easy to install. Instructions are reasonably well written, there could be some improvements required to some part of it. Especially area where finer adjustments documented, some soft of color coding and clear direction will help significantly. It looks great and holds projector firmly secure in place. very easy to adjust it (once you figure out which side is adjusting roll, pitch etc.)
Great mount I think they could engineer the locking mechanism a little better. Easy to install great instructions. My issue is I was installing this thing 25 feet up in the air. The last step to connecting the bracket and the projector is to hold the little prongs in place with the projector and flip the switch to lock them into place together. Great in theory but not when you are one handing this while trying to line things up and holding the projector in one hand. SHould sort of just lock in and slide over
Purchased this mount for my Epson projector. So happy I did. It's design made installation on my ceiling as near a "snap" as I would expect. The arms easily adjust to the projector's screw holes. Sanus even provides a variety of different screws to accommodate projector manufacturer's design choices. As long as you can find a strong ceiling stud behind your ceiling drywall, or have access to one through an attic, then you should be good to go.
It’s expensive but not as much as my Sony projector. This is about as good as I could ask for in a mount. Want one that’s the last one you’ll need? Here it is. Plenty of adjustments to make sure your projector image is centered just right. I mounted mine to the basement ceiling via a wood block I drilled into the studs.
