Fuse Protection In order to protect your card, the SAPPHIRE cards have fuse protection built into the circuit of the external PCI-E power connector to keep the components safe. Dual-X Cooling SAPPHIRE's acclaimed Dual-X Cooling is powered by two massive yet silent fans and state-of-the-art radiator design. The new form of hybrid fan blades means greater airflow and superior heatsink coverage at lower noise compared to standard cooling designs. Intelligent Fan Control Fan speed is intelligently controlled to keep the GPU, memory, PWM IC and other components as low as possible in temperature to balance performance, and fan noise. Precision Fan Control Standard industry fans may have up to 10% difference between fan rotation cycles (RPM). The Fan IC Control on SAPPHIRE graphics cards reduce differential at approximately 3%. This up to 70% improvement on accuracy ensures that cooling and noise performance of every graphics card is up to scratch. Two-Ball Bearing Fans These feature Dual Ball bearing fans, which have an approximately 85% longer lifespan than sleeve bearings in our tests. The improvements to the fan blades mean the solution is up to 10% quieter than the previous generation. Back Plate The all-aluminium back plate provides additional rigidity that guarantees nothing bends and dust stays out. It also helps cool your card by increasing heat dissipation.

A great upgrade on an older graphics card

I had a RX 570 and needed to find another graphics card that could handle my game playing and drawing needs. The card works well in my computer. I find the power load on it has decreased and runs so much cooler. I can now play games on ultra and find it very quiet. Would recommend to AMD users.

First, this is the "Lite" edition of this card, which means it only has 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. I don't run multiple displays, so it isn't an issue for me. With that said, I am really impressed with this card and the AMD software that runs it. This card replaced my GTX 1650 Super, which was really only adequate for current titles and barely so for games like Battlefield 2042. The RX 6600 runs BF 2042 at more than 75 FPS vs 50+ for the GTX 1650S (paired with an i5-10400). The card is quiet and runs pretty cool for a card that is as compact as this one is. At 97% GPU utilization the temperatures hover around 75 - 79 C. At idle, it sits around 35 C, which is a little warmer than the GTX 1650S, but this card also has a larger power budget, so that is to be expected. ... MoreFirst, this is the "Lite" edition of this card, which means it only has 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. Overall, it is a great card, it stays cool and quiet, and it has allowed me to run much higher quality settings with impressive frame rates (1080P). Very happy with this purchase.

Nothing against the video card, but an FYI:There are two versions of this card, a Standard and and a Lite. The Standard version has 3x D-ports + 1x HDMI while the Lite has 1x D-port and 1x HDMI.It looks like MCR is only stocking the Lite version. I almost reserved one by mistake for a non-gaming PC that needs two 4K displays along with a 1080p out.

Excellent Budget Card - 1 Caveat
17 July 2022

Picked this up for a budget build for a friend of mine for $280 (MSRP is $330).Card runs fine, not super hot, and is perfect for a budget build.Only caveat is that for this specific LITE edition it only has 2 outputs (1 HDMI and 1 Displayport). They cover the 2 missing ports with a silver tape so it looks a little goofy, but for a $50 savings its fine as the person I was building for didn't need 4 outputs anyways.

Good card on some games.

I got this card installed and everything updated fine. Certain games though it does not perform well. On newer games like warzone and Halo infinite performs wonderful on. Apex and insurgency performs well and I have tried far cry 5 works wells on. All these games can run medium to high settings and games like far cry and apex with everything turned all way up fps stays in the 100s and even warzone and halo are around in 100s. Something with older games the software for it doesnt work right. I tried Fortnite with a family member bc thats all he likes to play and the fps was awful. Everything on epic settings the game could barely get 60 fps and everything on low would jump anywhere from 80 to 180! Everything on epic settings the game could barely get 60 fps and everything on low would jump anywhere from 80 to 180! After doing my research more Ive read theres a lot more people of the amd community experience this issue on a lot of older games or game that are not very gpu intensive like Fortnite and cs:go. I know I dont have a cpu bottleneck bc even on halo at most the usage is 70% and any other game is 40% or less. I have 16gb of ram installed too at 3200 mhz. A lot of people though have reported this issue with 6000 series cards, but there was also some that didnt have know issue at all so i dont know. Could be way set up but some people I sent done some test and said its some kind of energy saving mode the card keeps wanting to put itself in, in low gpu usage games. All in all its not a bad card but this is just been my experience with it. Most time though I play apex, warzone, or insurgency so its not a very big issues but still kinda disappointing it stumble in games like Fortnite. Hopefully there will be a driver update soon to fix it.

Good crad for those that want power without the excessive power draw
28 March 2022

Great for 1080p gaming, a tad too warm for 1440p gaming, but most importantly with AMD Chill a lot less power demanding then other cards with similar performance (like the 1660s or 2060 non super). This card is paired with a I7-10700T (35W CPU) on a H470 Motherboard so I now have a powerful 1080p/1440p gaming rig that dose not draw more than 150W max out of the wall while gaming (with games like Doom Eternal it's under 100W). With electric bill prices soaring this card is a good investment for heavy gaming sessions. Just don't expect Ray Tracing as of yet until AMD gets their RSR fully worked out....

Great fast card
27 March 2022

Great card, quiet and fast, nice and small, only needing 1x 8 pin connector. Has no problem playing at 1080P max setting. Comes with 3x Display port and 1 HDMI port. Was easy to install, takes up 2 slots, and easy to install AMD software.Played Farcry 6 and battlefield 5 at max settings with a AMD Ryzen 5600G, Intel I5 11400F, and I5 12600K with 16Gigs DDR4, average FPS was 100, with temperature getting no higher than 65c. Its a very quiet card, I recommend this card.

This is not the card for everyone. It is a RX 6600, but I think there are enough changes that this should be called something different. Some frequencies are different and again it only has two outputs. Sapphire designed this card with existing parts and the least costly cooling solution. For being a Sapphire product, it does not have that premium feel. That being said for my needs this is excellent. I only use a single monitor and can play my games in 1440 over 100fps. This replaced my RX 590 at double the cost, but is newer, cooler, quieter and as I understand it has more features which I have yet to use. If you are on the fence because the price all I can say is the future for low end DGPU looks bad. If you get this at a reasonable price, I'm sure you will come to the same conclusions I made.

Smallest 6600 available now

Works great. Love the small size. This is the smallest 6600 I could find other than the asrock itx version that’s way overpriced on other sites. Runs cool and has all the best features like rsr, fsr 1.0 and 2.0 and stable drivers.

Solid card for 1080p
19 October 2021

Purchased as an upgrade from a 1060 3GB running 2 screens at 1080p. The card dropped right in and switching from NVidia to Radeon was no problem at all with Windows 10. I saw a really nice jump in performance from the 1060, able to run most everything with max settings. It's a good card for 1080p gaming. I gave it 4 eggs because the MSRP is high, but if you can pick one up for retail right now, its still a good deal in the current market.
