I bought this USB PD (Power Delivery) Charger simply to charge high output 21700 Lithium-ion batteries and it does the job, really well too compared to other 5v USB chargers which can get quite warm with the current draw required. That usually means you are pushing their output limits and that could end up burning them out before long. The Satechi 100w charger hardly even breaks sweat doing the job, showing virtually no temperature rise at all. That means it was made to handle such jobs. It's not cheap but you shouldn't get caught up with false economy by buying much lower power output chargers at a fraction of the price and expecting them to supply endless current output. Chargers like this Satechi can charge more than one item at the same time - easily..Fully ... MoreI bought this USB PD (Power Delivery) Charger simply to charge high output 21700 Lithium-ion batteries and it does the job, really well too compared to other 5v USB chargers which can get quite warm with the current draw required. This is (almost) faultless. The 2x USB-C ports each charging PD are ideal. I like that they're equivalent, so it doesn't matter what's plugged in - though that means they'll of course share their charge. Ideally it'd be good to have another USB-A port, but this seems unimportant when there are two fast ports. The plug into the back that goes to the wall-plug is just right as it doesn't overload the wall-plug.

I've bought two of these, one through work and one at home. I was originally pretty pleased with the device till its bugs reared their ugly head. If you want the device for USB PPS, so super fast charging Samsung devices then beware. The charger gets into a state where the ports will no longer do super faster charging, they will all revert to regular fast charge, which is extremely annoying. The only way to fix it is to power cycle the charger. This is not worth the money if you're not charging tiny devices or laptops. It's very bizarre.

Awesome

When charging one thing a time it is lightning quick. Two at a time and it is fast. If charging a macbook pro, two is the limit. Best charger I have ever owned cant recommend it highly enough.

Best Travel/Compact USB-C PD GaN Charger
16 October 2020

The versatility of this charger given its compact size is unmatched. You can either use the single USB-C port to charge up to 100W or charge up to 60W/30W between both USB-C ports. I am able to charge my Surface Pro, Nintendo Switch, and my smartphone at the same time, which completely suits my needs. I expect that I'll be using this charger for many years to come.

Good, far from great

Cant charge a surface pro 8 and samsung galaxy at the same time. Would expect a more stable product at this price.Often need to disconnect from power to "reset" the charger so it will charge at full capacity.

Love it, it works. But

Love it, it works. But it’s a very flimsy quality, the USB ports are not aligned correctly and the plugged in USB cables just pops out in 2 mins.I may go for ANKER next time.A bit disappointed with this purchase.

Nice charger that lightens the load.
11 April 2022

A fantastic little charger that removed the MacBook, iPad Pro, iPhone, and other various "bricks" from my bag. At 100W, it's charging my 16" MBP without issue and can easily charge an iPad Pro and iPhone concurrently. The outlet cable isn't really long like the MBP charger with extension, but I'm not sure that it needs to be. Plus, who needs that bulk? Great product.

Not fit for purpose
20 September 2022

Although the charger has two 100W USB C ports (clearly shown on the box) it can only deliver 100W total across both ports. Thus it does not have two 100W ports and I returned it as not fit for purpose.

Quality solution for multi-port charging
19 October 2022

Quality charger capable of charging up to three devices at high speeds. Note that if two USB-C to USB-C cables are connected the effective speed on both ports is lower, however this is clearly stated on the packaging and many people won't be charging two devices at the same time that would benefit from 100W charging anyway.
