This is a superb TB4 dock at a reasonable price. I needed it for WFH setup to drive 2 external displays for a Macbook Pro 16 (M1 Pro) and wanted the convenience of a single cable connector and a lot of expansion slots. I use 2 USB-C to Displayport cables to drive 2 Dell QHD displays. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this dock, but will upgrade to 4K at some point which this will also support. Plug all your disks, sound, card readers, ethernet, flash drives, hide this mess behind your screens, and just connect the TB4 cable to your MBP (on a vertical stand for purists). One cable to rule them all = pretty cool. Makes your desk super slick. Provides power to your laptop too, so no more need for magsafe. All SSD's connected are functioning at top speed. Everything works wonder. Well worth the price. Build quality and finish are excellent.

M1 macs other than the Mac Mini can only drive 1 external display along with the built in display. This is a limitation inherent to Macs (not the dock), and is present across all dock products when used with Apple computers.

So all in all, it a spendy device to be sure, but if you need fast connectivity this checks most of you boxes.
I have 3 5k LG monitors my M1 chipped 2021 MacBook Pro needed to drive, plus a hardwired Ethernet connection but only 3 USB c thunderbolt ports on my laptop. This solution gave adequate data throughput for Ethernet, monitor, and peripherals without overheating and only occasionally screen flicker. Comes with 1 thunderbolt USB-c cable (40 Gb plus power throughput). Two other monitors hooked directly to laptop. Solved the problem for higher resolution monitor on separate ports, with one bridging monitor, Ethernet hardwire and peripherals on one. Pricey but ports designed for 4K monitors inadequate data speeds. Works right out of the box. Be careful not to kink cables!
MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) - I waited for this dock to be back in stock for about 6 months. My goal was to do one disconnect from my home workstation and not need to disconnect any other auxiliary devices. I did forget that this dock did not include HDMI ports, so I had to wait a few more days to use it until I could order 2 Type-C HDMI Adapters to connect my external monitors. Everything works as intended to achieve my goal. My only cons are that when my Mac goes to sleep, I must disconnect and reconnect the dock for my external monitors to be recognized. Also, none of the ports work unless the dock is plugged into my Mac. For example, I use one of the USB ports to charge my phone, and it will not charge unless Mac is connected to the dock.
