Saucony Endorphin Pro 3

Get ready for speed when you lace up the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3. This fast shoe is designed with a carbon-fiber plate and an even thicker stack of PWRRUN PB foam to give you more pop underfoot as you run at breakneck speeds. Saucony added 4 mm of their PWRRUN PB cushioning to increase the stack height of the shoe (just under the 40 mm Worth Athleticsrsquo limit for competition), to provide more cushion and comfort while you run by the competition. Saucony also changed the geometry of the shoe to fit the additional stack height. Saucony uses its SPEEDROLL technology combined with an S-curve carbon-fiber plate to propel you forward effortlessly, making it one of the best carbon-plated shoes. Even with this increase in cushion and new geometry, the Endorphin Pro 3 is lighter than the previous version. The XT-900 outsole grips the road better, allowing you to race around corners with ease. A lightweight upper is breathable and comfortable thanks to Sauconyrsquos FORMFIT design that hugs every part of your foot for a personalized fit and feel. Push past your limits in the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3. Read more in our Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 review.

I wore the Books Levitate for a few years, until they tightened the mesh around the toe…that’s when I found these shoes. Light, bounce, smooth transition, PR, PR, PR. Most importantly, I should not be a marathon runner by body type. The Endorphin Pro 3 provides AMPLE cushion without adding incremental weight. It took me a few days to break them in, but since then they've been incredibly comfortable and I am ankle pain-free for the first time in I can't remember how long. Endorphin Pro 3, not the same.

I have a similar pair, Endorphin pro 3, the orange and blue version with which I Boston Qualified at Revel Big Bear CA on Nov 12th. I was so pleased with it that I bought the same model in white, just because the orange and blue pair is no longer available. This one feels differently, not so soft and I had a problem after mile 10 on my last long run. It felt like the carbon plate in the shoe, on my right shoe, was buckling inside, on and off. It was slightly painful and I am glad it was near the end of my 12 miler run. I have asked for an exchange or refund, I am still waiting for an answer. Bottom line: I wonder if it is another production run with slight modifications from the original first batch. Used them again today for a short Track 5 miler, no problems here. ... MoreI have a similar pair, Endorphin pro 3, the orange and blue version with which I Boston Qualified at Revel Big Bear CA on Nov 12th. Excellent shoes, but a few spots to watch.
24 November 2022

Very pleased on the whole, so light, bouncy and responsive, yet comfortable. But two minor comments:1) I have wide feet (wear 11.5 wide when available), had to go up to 12 given no wide sizes in the Endorphin line. 11.5 was way too snug. 12 is fine. Not noticing any sliding inside the shoe. Not a big deal, but thought worth noting.2) First race wearing them was a 1/2 marathon with bandaids after reading about some people getting blisters/raw spots on their Achilles, and had no problems. Shoes felt great, toe box was wide enough in the larger size that I had no problems with my Morton's neuroma. But I just ran a 10k without protecting my heels and ended up with a spot rubbed raw on the Achilles. Will make a habit of wearing bandaids at the back going forward.

Great Concept but Execution Lacking
27 October 2022

I've run in and loved Endorphin Speeds for up to marathon distances since the first generation. The old Endorphin Pro's were too harsh for anything longer than 5ks. Enter the Endorphin Pro 3's...Nike Vaporfly competitors! The midsole's awesome, the carbon plate refined, but the tongue gets sucked into the shoe letting laces dig in , and the upper's too narrow...narrow toes, narrow arch that actually pinched my arch between the shoe upper and sole! It's a shame the sizing changed for such a great shoe! Saucony's spot on with all their other sizing...consistent as can be. But the Endorphin Pro 3's are way too narrow, especially for a shoe meant for marathon distances! No wide version available either...bummed!

Great Price, High end, lightweight, race day shoe

A Solid 4 stars. The price is awesome for this caliber of a shoe. I think we're all tired of paying $250, and up for carbon plated shoes. This shoe is a breath of fresh air, and easier on the pockets. Soft landing, and quick turnaround. Lightweight, and I love this color. I ran the the 2022 NYC marathon in them, and couldn't be happier with their performance. I happen to run a PR that day. Only one issue I have with them, and that would be the tongue. I noticed the tongue would ride down after just a little while. It's very annoying when you feel the laces against your foot in the middle of your run, and there's no tongue between your foot, and the laces.. Normally a shoe would have a small loop attached to the tongue to bring the laces through and hold the tongue ... MoreA Solid 4 stars. The price is awesome for this caliber of a shoe. It's a simple solution, and I would have rated this shoe 5 stars had it not been for this problem. Other than that, this is a solid race day shoe. I definitely recommend it.

Only ran is the new Endorphin Pro 3 twice doing speed work both times but enough to form my opinion on the shoe. Over all it is awesome. Love the new stack height , it provides great cushioning and the energy return ( bounce ) is for sure felt with every step. Lock down is good and they did fit true to size for me, love the weight Also. Very light. I gave this shoe a 4 star, probably be closer to a 4.5 but one thing I hate is the upper. It looks and feels like a cheap piece of hard plastic wrapped around your foot. I could even feel it thru my sock.I know we are all different in what we like and feel in a running shoe , but this upper is the worst one I've ever felt on a shoe. Incredible

I am 60. I run way more than I should and have been training hard for the past couple years. Been a runner all my life. These shoes are just incredible. Out of the box fit like a glove. The first thing you notice is the wieght. There is no way a shoe this light can do what it does but.. it does. The midsole material is like running on a cloud and the carbon plate combined with the roll tech definitely pushes you forward. The biggest difference for me was the lack of soreness from impact. My legs get tired but prior to this the soreness would also be a factor in my training schedule. The immediate degrading of that soreness has allowed my legs t ok nrecover faster and better and I have been able to add not just miles to my work out but more workouts during the ... MoreI am 60. Used these for the Philadelphia Marathon this past weekend...The good - Great energy return, good grip, felt good UNDER the foot but everywhere else I couldn't wait to get these off.The bad - The lockdown seams ok but the tongue is terrible and will slide all over the place shortly after you start running leaving nothing in between the laces and your foot. The sides near the ankle seem too high. When cornering my ankles would dig into the side of the shoe (Might just be my ankles). The shoes just feel overall cheezy with the upper, tongue, and laces.Worst but not least. These have terrible hot spots on the heel near your Achilles tendon.
