4/5 Stars only for the reason that I expected a little softer ride than these give. A great daily training shoe regardless. They are a little firmer than I was hoping for a recovery day/long run day shoe. I have heard the Endorphin Speed is a great long day shoe but I just don't trust I will get the same durability as the Shift. I prefer the Speed and Pro for race day.The Shift does fit true to size and the width is what attracted me to this shoe. I am flat footed and slightly overpronate, more so with my left foot. The wider base does help to stabilize my feet a bit.It doesn't run too hot and this is coming from someone who generally runs hot. I have only used them on the treadmill so we will see come next summer how they do outside in the heat. The shoe feels ... More4/5 Stars only for the reason that I expected a little softer ride than these give. Still only plan on using this shoe for medium length progression runs. Days where I will pick up the pace a little bit.

I love these shoes. They’re so comfortable. I’m female and tried to e women’s size. But the whole endorphin line is way too narrow and hurts my feet. I decided to try the men’s size and it miraculously worked out! I recently got diagnosed with a foot condition (hallus limitus/rigidus) and a bone spur, and the doc sent me to the running store. He said I need to donate all my shoes and find good fitting running shoes. So far, Saucony is the only shoe that doesn’t hurt my foot. These and the women’s guide 15 wide have been a lifesaver for the pain. I love that I can wear these on rainy days! They fill an important gap in the journey to replacing my shoes for all seasons. Thanks Saucony, really great pair of shoes!!

Wanted a daily trainer to compliment my faster runs. This version is better than the previous. It rolls better as it's not as stiff. 1st run was better than expected out of the box. Wanted to do 3 but ended up doing 5 easy miles. Soft on the feet and cushion on the knees. All you have to do is move your legs and the shoe does the rest. Best when used when you need a nice long run. I see how it compliments the endorphin speed. Even for an older runner like myself (52).The only draw back were the laces. I have no idea why they would put ropes as laces. I purchased the vizipro. I switched them right away.

Well this is a chonky boy. The midsole looks like a brick of styrofoam. It also felt like it the first 30 miles. Too stiff at first, but after some break in it feels balanced and soft enough without being plush. It's been perfect for crunching those low-intensive 5-30 mile runs.I have narrow feet with low archs and the Shift 3 fits me just fine. There is room for toe splay and the mid foot lock down is good, but I'd like a tighter fit in the heel. Coming from the Endorphin Speed 3 I enjoy the lower drop but missing the laces.-1 star for roomy heel, silly laces getting untied too often and boring color choices.Would recommend the Shift 3.
This is the ideal shoe for heavier runners because they are so well built. The midsole is firm and reactive. Typically, I find running shoes to be too soft in the soles including the Endorphin Speeds and Pros. If you want a firm, responsive, and stable shoe that will last, the Shift is the answer.I have not ran much in the Shift 3 yet, but first impressions indicate that it has only improved on the Shift 2. The fit is exactly the same as the Shift 2, as well. I put 350+ miles on my Endorphin Shift 2s including my first two marathons. My body weight started at 240 lbs and has since dropped to 215. The shoes still have a lot of miles left in them and plenty of support remaining. I bought these for attractive, comfortable walking shoes to bring to Italy. I did not do a trial wear and that was a HUGE mistake! I have worn Saucony for years and always bought a size 7 1/2. So that is the size I bought with Endorphine Shift 3. These shoes are not consistent with Saucony sizing. They do not have the usual wide toe box for a running shoe and seem to run much smaller. I was so disappointed. I have wasted a great deal of money. I will say they are attractive looking. I just can't wear them without having foot discomfort.
Bought this after running in Endorphin Speeds, Endorphin Pros, Endorphin Speed 2s, AND Endorphin Pro 2s. I was waiting for the Endorphin Elites to drop, and figured I needed a “slow” shoe to balance out my arsenal of go-fasters. Well, these are the WORST purchase I have ever made when it comes to a running shoe (and I tried running in a pair of Nike Cortez about 2 decades ago).If you want to feel like you’re running through SAND your entire run, these are absolutely the shoe for you.If you want to feel like are battling the shoe the emtire run, these are definitely the shoe for you.If you want to feel like you’re running with two toddlers latched onto your legs, again - these are the shoe for you.Not sure who the target was when they created these, but ... MoreBought this after running in Endorphin Speeds, Endorphin Pros, Endorphin Speed 2s, AND Endorphin Pro 2s. Let me say I love this shoe! The Heel to Toe drop is perfect for me and the cushion is as well!! They are softer than the previous version and wider in my opinion. Both great attributes for this shoe! I have purchased 4 colors already and as someone else has stated I find each shoe fits differently. Some feel longer and some feel wider. Not sure what the issue may be in the manufacturing and I also am not fond of the different shoe laces for each shoe. Some are the nice stretchy lace and others are not and are a little on the short side causing me to have to go out and buy new laces. 1 more thing I would like to see is an all black version of this shoe for women. I wear some of these for work and some are for the gym. The black and white version gets a little old ... MoreLet me say I love this shoe! After 8 hrs on my feet on concrete flooring they don't hurt at the end of the day! The slight stability is a big help as well on a previous fractured ankle and a prior Morton's Neuroma welcomes the added cushion!
I run in the Guide 15 religiously and was excited to add the Shift 3 to my rotation when it appeared in the stability category. There is not an ounce of stability for someone with flat feet or someone that pronates. The Guide is still the perfect stability shoe and the best I have ever worn without a need for an insert. I had to immediately put an insert in the Shift and even with that, it was only kind of.a stability shoe. I wish Saucony would not put this or the Tempus under stability because both of them are not even close. If the Shift had the Guide support, it would have been a clear winner, Maybe next time!! I gave it a two star rating only because of lack of stability but it was fun to run in with an insert but will not make the cut in fear of injury. I decided to buy this shoe because of the good reviews it got and that in had a PowerRun insole. I had the Guide 15, which has that insole and it is so good that I didn't need custom arch orthotics. The Endorphin Shift with the PowerRun insoles is a perfect fit in the wide width. The upper fit with the traditional laces is very comfortable. You feel securely locked in, but there is no pressure on the top of the arch.In addition to the comfort of the fit, the ride is smoother than any shoe I've worn. Yet the cushioning feels responsive and doesn't slow you down. When my feet hit the ground, you can barely hear them. This is written with about 40 miles on the shoe. They felt great from mile one. Really the best shoe I have worn!
