I loved the Speed 4 sneakers as soon as I saw them. The black and purple look incredible. Not loving the bright white bottoms, but it won’t affect the overall shoe rating. I’d like to mention that I do have the Endorphin Speed 3s in the sulphur otherworld, and the night colors. Although I know that the 3’s and 4’s weigh the same they somehow feel lighter. I felt the boosted comfort that has been mentioned on a few YouTube channels (the run testers). I like the way they feel and fit . In my opinion, they are tts. I am a true size 35, I always wear a size 5 and a size 5 in these shoes fit perfectly. As I was trying them on and taking a few steps in them I did feel a bit of slippage on my right shoe. I am looking forward to rotating these into my runs.

Maybe I just really have weird feet (they are an entire size different), but the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 did not work for me. I'm not a runner though have been trying to work my way up to running. I do a ton of walking at a moderate or brisk pace and have been including some jogging intervals. My legs just haven't been able to handle more than a minute or so of jogging/running (admittedly probably due to decades of a mostly sedentary lifestyle). I've tried so many different shoes from different brands, was hoping that these might work, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I cannot remember the exact issue I had with them. Maybe just that it didn't provide a bouncy step that made me want to go faster, it also could have been they felt a bit too narrow (no wide ... MoreMaybe I just really have weird feet (they are an entire size different), but the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 did not work for me. I feel they were just an okay shoe, but I already have quite a few pairs of shoes I find to be just okay or adequate so I did return these and exchanged them for something else. Maybe the perfect shoe for me just doesn't exist but I'll keep on looking.

I absolutely adored the rest I’ve had, but I’m really having a hard time with these. I even went up a half size from my usual, and after about 70 miles of training they just aren’t the best. There’s a very weird band that runs super tight across the top of the foot, and while my toes have enough room in the toe box, running downhill for more than about 50 meters becomes markedly painful as that band pushes against the tarsal bones in my foot to the point of grinding. I’ve worn Saucony shoes for over a decade now, and really wish they’d stop changing so much about designs by about take 3, maybe 4, of a given model. Good performance, Bad quality
18 September 2024

This is my second pair of Endorphin Speed 4's. I have been buying Speeds since the second iteration and have been really happy with the performance. However, I am extremely disappointed that the logo on the shoe falling off AGAIN on the second pair. At first, I thought it was just a faulty first pair, but no, it happened again on the next pair. It looks like a lot of other people are experiencing this problem also. For a $170 pair of running shoes that last 350 miles of running, I expect far better quality. They already look beat up after only 50 miles of road running. I wont be buying them again

Great Cushion for the Long Haul
20 November 2024

I read many of the reviews on this product and it seems that if you have used the previous versions of this shoe you might not be happy. Also, if your feet are wider than Medium width, you probably will not be happy. That all said, I converted to these from Brooks Ghosts, 7.5 narrow, because they have a lot more cushion and will allow me to run my first marathon. They run quite narrow through the heel and middle, but have a nice wide toe box. I stuck with 7.5. With inserts, they are perfect for my narrow, high-arched feet. I had them professionally fitted at a running shoe store, so I could compare them to other options. They won hands down, so I ordered a 2nd pair from REI to be able to rotate the 2 pairs. If your feet are used to less padding but you are getting older (I'm 57) the extra padding helps immensely on the recovery. I'm very slow, so I don't feel I'll get an improved speed out of them. But being able to pound out a 20 mile run and 30+ miles a week during training will be good enough for me.

It was worth it!
6 September 2024

I absolutely fell in love with these shoes! For years, I was running in Brooks Ravenna 11, but I wasn’t really into running seriously back then. Recently, as I started running more and my Ravenna wore out, I decided to try the Brooks Glycerin. Unfortunately, they didn’t work for me, and I ended up with knee pain. That’s when I decided to give these Saucony shoes a shot after reading some positive reviews on this website. Initially, I was hesitant, but after three runs, I’m hooked! I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new. I’m sharing this review for anyone who might be hesitant about trying new things—sometimes, it's worth the leap!

Love this shoe! Makes me want to run more!
21 September 2024

This shoe is perfection! I don’t understand the negative reviews. It is the best Saucony I have ever owned ( and I have owned a lot!) It feels like running on down pillows, the recoil is amazing . It literally pushes you forward to run faster with little effort but it has the comfort to endure long arduous runs as well. I have heel issues for the last year and have been struggling to find something that works for me. This is the first shoe I have worn where immediately my foot felt fine. Perfect all around shoe. I don’t even know how you could improve it . Maybe neon pink/yellow colour combo?

Simply Amazing

★★★★★The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 running shoes are simply amazing! They feel incredibly fast, giving you that perfect balance of speed and support during runs. The comfort level is outstanding, making even long runs feel effortless. The cushioning is responsive, and the shoes are lightweight, which helps you maintain a fast pace without sacrificing comfort. Whether you're doing speed work or long-distance runs, these shoes deliver top performance. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their running game!

straight out of box, first impression: I was wildly confused about the compressed styrofoam sole. The only rubber like material is the orange on the sole.I tried on the shoe and it was comfortable. I decided to head to the gym and do a 30min incline walk with them. The shoe wears well. lots of comfort. My feet never felt achy while on the treadmill. HOWEVER, 170 dollars is a lot for compressed styrofoam. I have very little faith in the shoe being a long lasting item. I also fully believe that if I had the type of dog that ate shoes mine would've destroyed it in 2 seconds.

need a narrow width
9 May 2024

I am one of the niche runners who loved the Endorphin Speed 2 and consider it the all time best running shoe. I bought 12 pairs and continued to bypass the Endorphin Speed 3 as it was too wide for me. Alas, the Endorphin Speed 4 is also way too wide for my narrow heels despite experimentation with heel lock lacing, thicker socks, adhesive tongue pad additions, etc. The heel slippage and inability to lock down is a problem for my foot anatomy(high arch and instep included.) I suggest that Saucony offer the Endorphin Speed update in a narrow. This would make it more appealing to the Endorphin Speed 2 admirers who seek a snug racer fit and additionally those with narrow feet. I think there are enough of us out there to make it commercially viable.
