The Saucony Jazz Original Vintage brings back the OG vibe from the timeless Saucony running sneaker. While the shoe nowadays isn’t used too much anymore for running, it transformed into a classic sneaker for every situation. The black, grey and silver metallic upper features nylon underlays and suede overlays with mesh on the toe box. The collar is comfortably padded, and the off-white EVA midsole provides cushioning.

Was so excited for this shoe as a fan of the Shadow line and all things iridescent. However, the logo and name tag are actually a silver (faux leather?) material with holographic effect. Yes, there's a difference. If you know, you know. There's always color variations that are to be expected when ordering online, but the effect shown online is clearly iridescent as the name implies. Also the logo fabric is not the same as pictured. The only true iridescence on the shoe is the plastic on the sole. While this shoe is beautifully constructed, it feels disjointed with the clashing effects. This is the second time that color and materials do not match what the actual product looks like once it has been received.

I am a Brooks running girl and bought this shoe for walking. I have never had such incredible pick up on my forefoot. I can sprint for a bus in these so zippy. So... Now it's my running shoe? I'm ready to switch after decades of loyalty. I love loved an interview from this company's CEO about accessible, sustainable footwear. Also, my shoe came different from the picture. I was considering returning it. Before I even said that, I was offered a percentage of money back from my purchase. Then, they immediately CHANGED the picture to be more accurate. This company is ON IT.

I have used your shoes for decades. Good support, good fit, good styles. The latest pair is in grey, looks sharp. But "Saucony" is splashed across the back in colored letters. My fault - I didn't look closely at the product. I do not want to market your shoes. Wore them once and I will give them away. I'd even pay more for a "stealth" shoe that says "Saucony" is very small letters in an unobtrusive spot.I also wish there was a way I could take a photo of a favored pair, now no longer offered by you (colors/design have changed) and order a couple of pairs.

This is my 5th or 6th pair of Saucony Jazz Original Vintage sneakers. I like the new blue with yellow color scheme. The tongue on the new shoe is not as well made, and much uglier/way less cool than the original sneakers of the same model that I’ve had. It’s not as thick or well made. It’s strangely longer and not hemmed as it was before. The insole is different as well. I can’t comment on the comfort comparison because I haven’t worn them yet. If Saucony continues making future Jazz Originals with this strange, long, unhemmed tongue, sadly I will stop buying the shoe.
This was my first Saucony jazz purchase. I got the pink in 8.5. I saw some of the reviewers mention that the comfort of the shoe did not match that of previous jazz pairs. I am giving the shoe two stars because of this. It has no cushion. Just a flat insole. I was bummed because the shoe itself is gorgeous. Color is perfect, but just not comfortable enough to keep. They are also a little roomy in the toe. I actually ordered another pair of jazz from a different website in a less updated style, and they are SUPER comfy and actually more true to size. The company must have sacrificed some materials to make this specific pair of jazz look cool. Unfortunately I will be returning them.
I’ve had many pairs of Saucony Jazz sneakers and was excited when my boyfriend bought me the gold pair for my birthday. However, this will be the last purchase unless major improvements are made.First the tongue of the shoe is cheap and unpadded, it’s like an after thought and just not acceptable for an $80 pair of shoes. It degrades the comfort and appearance of the shoe. Also, they keep sticking in a white tongue instead of fabric that matches the rest of the shoe color, again it makes it look cheap.Lastly, all of the select styles are now unisex with few options specifically sized for women in the Jazz Originals which never fit as well.Needless to say I am less than pleased with the direction this style is going. Four stars for design and colors cosmetically. Not five stars for not having the vegan option, toe box too tight. Had to size up and still the toe box only needs to be .250" bigger. The top of the shoe is super tight had to loosen up the laces by a mile and it still feels tight. Love the shoes though. I wear them for style and use my older performance shoes for messy active days.
I have had several of this exact style shoe over the years and the excellent quality has remained consistently the same. They are true to size and as always very comfortable right out of the box. Love that there is a large variety of colors available. I hope this product is never discontinued.
I bought this shoe a few weeks ago for my wife’s bday. Well, the quality control is horrible. I don’t even know how this even slipped by. And I feel bad because I didn’t even check the shoes when they came in (also purchased the lavender one). So now she has to wait to do the return process, and wait for her new pair to come in.
They would've been great sneakers only if they put an insole with an arch. They are flatter than the old converse All Stars use to be. I expected more from Saucony's. In the 1990's they made them better and they had an arch. They fit big since they don't have an Arch. The insole of a sneaker will make or break them. They kept rubbing on the back of my heal. It is confusing when I have bought sneakers that are the same style and brand and some are too tight, small, a half size bigger. I feel they have a warehouse where they have people make all lefts on one line filling up a cart. on the other line they make all right sneakers. In stead of making a pair together so they both fit the same on each foot. I feel they as well make colors at different places. I say this ... I say this because I have bought Blue and they were too big, than gray and they were perfect than I bought another pair of Bullet grey and one sneaker was slightly smaller and tighter. This company was my favorite one's. Now I fear to get a pair that what will happen next. Hey! Life has enough problems and when you treat yourself to something special you are suppose to feel good not worry about what is going to happen next.?
