Returning in its OG tooling with a black guise, the Saucony Progrid Omni 9 OG keeps you one step ahead on those trails. Techy mesh lands on the uppers, joining in synthetic overlays for a sturdy and breathable construction up top. Collars are equipped with Hydrator technology, wicking out all the moisture on those runs, while a dual density SSL and EVA midsole offers the smoothest of rides, extending from forefoot to heel. A XT-900 rubber sole maximises grippiness below and plenty of branding adds an instantly recognisable finish. | S707393, Textile, Leather & Synthetic Upper/Synthetic Sole.

I was excited to see all these shoe companies bringing back classics running shoe designs from the early 2000s. I personally really appreciated this era of shoe design and thought it was way ahead of its time. Now that they’re “back in style” it gives the newer generation a chance to appreciate these classics. Great comfort and eye catching design make this shoe a necessity for your closet.

I bought this model shoe with the intent of replacing my other 4 pair of Saucony running shoes as they are badly worn after putting on so many miles and having and using them for many years without incident. I even ordered a pair when I was deployed to Fallujah and they were delivered (to my surprise) to Fallujah and I put many miles around the perimeter of the bases with no issues.I was please with the visual aspect of these new shoes however, I wore them for one run and could not walk for three days. I tried to put six miles on them but by the 4 1/2 mile mark, the pain was unbearable and I limped the rest or the way back. The pain was concentrated between the Metatarsal and Cuneiform regions of the foot across all joints in that region. I cannot explain why ... I cannot explain why except to say that I suspected that I received a narrow pair of shoes which is not indicated anywhere on the package or the shoe that I can see. I felt some pressure across that region initially upon wearing them but I hoped the pressure would break in with the first run. The shoes now reside in the garage on a shelf never to be worn again, as I don't want to argue a return or exchange justification.Incidentally, I'm back to wearing one of my highly worn out Saucony running shoes as I shop around for another pair.I tried to add a photo of my shoes but the button did not work. But since you asked...............That's the story.

Very nice looking shoe, but it runs at least a half size too small. Unfortunately, I will have to return.
