I have been wearing Saucony Triumphs for several years, I've probably owned around 50 pairs. I think the 20 is by far the worst version of the Triumph model. I've purchased 3 different pair this year and they have all had different issues. The sole of the first pair began pealing off 3 days after I purchased them. This type of thing happens, so I glued them back together. That pair of shoes has now been glued more than 5 times. I had the second pair for about a month and maybe 50 miles just walking around in them before the upper began separating from the midsole. I've been breaking in the last pair for a couple weeks but they have a hard spot in the sole that has bruised the ball of my foot so I'll probably recycle them and buy something different.

I purchased the Triumph for my easy and long run days. While it lasted, it was a fantastic choice. Great grip, very comfortable, and I could pick up the pace a little bit. However, on my last run in the shoe, I caught the curb of a sidewalk and scraped the shoe. I didn't think anything of it, as I didn't fall or lose my balance, just a minor scrape, or so I thought. After I finished the run, I inspected the shoe further, and I noticed the foam cushioning had a significant split. There was also a slightly smaller split in the back of the same shoe on the same side. Again, I didn't think twice about the slippage during the run, as I believe any other shoe would be fine, but I question the durability of the PWRRUN+ in this shoe. I bought this a little over a month ago. Liked it so much, I came back for a second pair on sale. I've liked the Triumph 18 I got a couple years ago. Great everyday trainer and easily put in 600+ road miles without any visible breakdown or outsole wear. Tried the 19's which seemed a bit softer and an improvement on the 18's. Heard a rave review on the Triumph 20 and I got to agree it's a great show for me. Nice fit, breathable upper, lots of stack without feeling unstable, soft midsole material, cushy, yet responsive. Love the Vizipro color. Mid 100's miles into it, still loving it, so I bought the second pair. Never can be certain to get them again.

Bought these recently revamping my shoe rotation as I train for a HM. Overall pretty good, taken on a couple long runs around 14 miles. Feet have felt good after, glutes and hamstrings were a little tender but that could be from lifting so not docking the shoes for that. Two things stood out to me was the stack was pretty high. If you’re used to that then probably no issue, but for me it was a rude awakening when I tried to take a 90* turn at a street corner and immediately rolled my ankle. Learned I had to either slow down or take the turn much wider. Second issue was the laces, they are too slick and stretchy. Would feel like I got them nice and tight only for them to slack and my knot get loose. Triumph 20 was a highly anticipated shoe for my triathlon training and run races of 5-15k. Unfortunately it did not measure up to performance expectations considering the price. It looks awesome for sure, but for me it ended there. I put them on for a quick 10k and immediately my heel would not lock down and blisters formed after 5k. Doesn't happen in my other brand. The heel cup is too narrow and shallow. Tightening the laces enough to cause forefoot pain was not enough to keep the heel in the shallow and narrow cup. Additionally, the heel cup fabric has seems on the medial and lateral sides of heel cup, causing immediate discomfort and friction.
