I have very sensitive teeth. I found daily use of this product did help somewhat in that area but did not altogether cure it. I would still recommend it to anyone with sensitive teeth.

A true antibacterial mouth wash

This mouth wash was recommended to me by dentist prior to getting my wisdom teeth extracted via surgery. My dentist was worried about the risk of infection as I had been suffering from some pretty bad pain with my wisdom teeth. The minty fresh taste left my mouth feeling clean and fresh. Antiseptic Essential For Wisdom Teeth Removal

Colgate Savacol Rinse Fresh Mint comes in a clear plastic container with a screw on lid. Savacol is an antiseptic mouth and throat rinse that is used for several mouth and teeth reasons. Do not swallow, discard the antiseptic after rinsing. My son had 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed and had stitches in his gums at the back of his mouth. Fantastic!

I got my wisdom teeth removed last week, and my dentist recommended using this during recovery. So far, it's been great! It makes my mouth feel super clean and fresh, much more than a regular mouthwash. I love that it's antibacterial so is keeping my extraction sites free of any nasties.

Great for after root canal or Cyst removal

After my husband had minor surgery to remove a cyst and wisdom tooth Savacol alcohol free mouthwash was recommended during the healing process, he’s stayed with this since and loves it

Great product

Works great. Recommended by me dentist and my bleeding gums stopped bleeding after about a week. I am a bit cautious about using it all the time because of staining. Therefore I use it one week out of four and use Hydrogen Peroxide for the other 3 weeks.

It works!

Previously, I had serious ulcer and the gum near to my wisdom tooth was swollen. It was hard for me to eat because the wisdom teeth will bite the inner cheek and worsen the ulcer whenever I try to bite. I went to the dentist and the dentist recommended this product to me. It is really working!! The ulcer recovered in few days.

Mouthwash

Very good antibacterial mouthwash to use for swollen gums & mouth ulcers. A small amount of 10mls. swirld in the mouth for a minute is effective enough

Not your average mouthwash

This a bit more 'heavy duty' than other mouthwashes you can buy in the supermarket, It's not just for fresh breath etc.. It's helpful for people with gingivitus and mouth infections, ulcers, or for use after a visit to the dentist when you've had a bit of work done, and so forth. It has a mint flavour , it reminds me of chewing gum that you've had in your mouth for a few minutes. You have to keep it in your mouth for one minute. It has to used up within 4 weeks of opening but it's not a big bottle so it was'nt hard to get through it in that time.

Turns red gums to a healthy pink

This awesome product was recommended by my dentist. It worked perfectly to get rid of bad bacteria, which completely got rid of redness in my gums. They are now a healthy pink. I also like that this product has no alcohol so it doesn't sting inside your mouth; and isn't harsh on tooth enamel. (I have tried the version with alcohol & it does sting but that one also tastes better. If you go in with the knowledge that it tastes a bit yuck as my dentist warned, you probably will think it's not too bad :) It is only supposed to be used briefly anyway. I only used it 1 minute at a time, 2-3 times a day, for almost 2 weeks (needs to be used within a month of opening). You should only use it for 1-2 weeks & this wasn't written on the bottle, but was prescribed by my dentist ... MoreThis awesome product was recommended by my dentist.
