Very happy only thing im not sure about, is the led light. I have plenty of light in the workshop and don't tend to use power tools in the dark. Its a shame I can't turn the led off as its a waste of battery power. A very tiny moan, as overall the tool us excellent.

Another excellent product from Ryobi. Just the tool I need to sand down a gate that’s got intricate twists and turns. Unfortunately it’s getting harder to hide my ever expanding Ryobi collection from my wife.

Really great for cleaning up metal and wooden garden furniture between bars/slats/ decorations etc. Dramatically cuts working time down.

Further to my previous negative reviews, I would like to put on record that this problem has been resolved to my satisfaction. The delay from Ryobi was due to the Customer Service contact being unavailable to assist me. Light & Easy To Use!

Light & Easy To Use. I have 2 off 230vac Power Files when I need some power so I was looking for a cordless option for occasional use &/or away from mains power. This fits the bill well. It's lighter & smaller than the mains ones & of course is less powerful & revs much lower. That said it's very capable & being light it's easy to manoeuvre. Uses the same size belts too, which is handy. A good addition to my growing collection of cordless tools :-)

Okay, but lacks power

Bought to replace an ancient black and decker power file. Although the machine is good it just doesnt have the speed and power of the much older design. I think in this product, Ryobi have overstepped what they can do with battery power.

Versatile, portable, no strings attached detail sander!

This is an extremely handy tool for finish/detail sanding. No air hose, no power cord! Ryobi should release this in the USA, so everyone else doesn't have to pay as much as I did to get it.

Well made extremely useful when de-rusting metal gates

Purchased to removed rust from gates,. Does the job quickly and efficiently when using the correct grade of grit for the belts. Buy a separate pack of correct grade belts for this.

Who needs a cord!

Ryobi continue to provide good alternatives to corded tool and this is another great example. These tools do just the same job as other versions but without the need for extension reels, trip hazzard power leads on the floor and in some cases, the danger of cutting through them. A little larger than some corded models, this power file is perfect for the job and surpasses my original mains file. Motor projection can be a slight problem at times but the plus points far outweigh any small niggles. Belt change is easy and dust extraction simple. If you find yorself using these One+ tools you may need to invest in a second or third battery, if you have more than one tool on the go. A multi charger is also a great investment to keep them topped-up.
