Doing such little driving this year due to COVID restrictions my car battery has had trouble maintaining charge. This solar charger has been a great help! Haven't needed to jump start my car since!It would be good if there was a light or something to indicate it is working or receiving light or whatever. I've had to just assume it's working since I haven't had trouble starting.Also having something like suction caps would be useful rather than it just sitting on an angle on my dash.

The solar panel does not have a regulator, therefore its output is excessive.This leads to overcharging and can boil dry smaller agricultural batteries.The alligator clips are very poor quality, thus short cct's can easily happen.Poor performance observed during cloudy days.Regulator for this solar pannel are very cheap and so are decent aligator clips. No reason not to have it.

Not waterproof. Not even water resistant! . Not sure how something that requires sunlight hasn’t been designed to go outside.

put it on the car and was hoping it would charge and maintain the battery, went back after a week and battery was flat. reconfigured and made sure it had plenty of sunlight but still no joy. i'm returning this as its useless.
