Great for draining engine oil. Big 8 litre capacity. Really easy to pour the drained oil into another bottle for disposal. There is an indicator on the side for every litre drained. Cheap so even if you use it once it's worth it.

Cheap plastic that breaks easy.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, used it once before it fell off the counter and broke! I don't know what sort of plastic they are using but I have never seen something almost brand new brake that easy. If you buy this you'll have to treat it like your newborn son to stop it from breaking.

Excellent results

Purchasing this 8L oil drain pan I expected results, after draining 6L during an oil change I was surprised to find that there was excess room. Using the spout to expel the oil resulted in unnecessary mess when trying to speed along. Otherwise an excellent product that does as it says. :)

I need to work on my aim when I spray
18 December 2022

I purchased this so I could replace my fuel filter but I ended up getting sprayed with fuel and none went in the pan. I've had many of these over the years and will definitely buy again

Just not the same as the old days
7 June 2019

I've only bought 3 oil pans in 40 years.... and this one just passes as Ok. Its tube depth is designed for cars with high ground clearance ( or 4x4 etc.) and has capacity for most engine oil changes. The width of the spout is just too big and needs to taper if you use 5lt waste containers. The filter holder is to shallow and to narrow to be used with large filters. If you have a normal or low sedan/wagon you will need to jack or block up the car to use this pan for engine oil changes.

Ok but needs improvements

The spout is too wide which causing a problem when pouring the used oil back into emptied oil bottle. Otherwise no problems. The plastic is solid and handling is easy

Perfect size for most oil changes
20 April 2021

It is a good size for most cars where you are draining up 5 litres of oil. I find that with the 5 litre pans, when you are moving the pan, if you don't hold it level you can get some spillage. However, with the 8 litre pan, there is still a bit of room from the lip so that it doesn't spill. Just wished they had a better design for the spout as it is mot the easiest to pour out of.

Worked as expected for just a catchment bucket. To perfect this type of 'tool', the spout could be adjustable to be able to more 'direct' the flow into a narrow container opening.

Top Oil Drain Pan !
19 January 2023

This is the perfect size oil drain pan for the average to large size car or vehicle. There is plenty of spare room in the top of pan when all the oil has been drained out of car sump, which makes it easy to pour out without any spillages.

Very badly designed spout.
17 March 2023

I bought this some time ago and every time i have to use it,it is a disappointment. The spout is just so badly designed,I am sure the oxymoron who designed it never used it and Supercheap just keeps selling it instead of remaking it.
