Bought this a few weeks ago and I wish I could give this product zero out of 5 stars. Completely useless as a fire place glass cleaner. Cold water is more effective. Please don't buy this product unless you enjoy wasting money.

This is the most effective stuff I've used to clean soot off wood burner glass. Great product.

Soot (not creosote) can easily be removed from fireplace glass with a simple wet rag. I mistakenly bought this product thinking it would remove the dark brown stains - which it did not! If you look at the attached photo, you will see the dark brown stains (after I washed with the Scandia) and clean streaks produced when I used Stove Bright’s glass cleaner (available at some hardware stores and stores that sell fireplaces). Do not waste your money on the Scandia glass cleaning products!
