I purchased this Scanpan small saucepan after buying the equivalent sized Analon product (which was so badly designed for stability- the centre of gravity would make it fall off our gas hot plate with the slightest touch!!). This is perfectly weighted and a pleasure to use. Buy quality every time if you can afford it!

Scanpan is great quality and reasonably priced at Peter's. Buying a set is the best way, but I just needed an additional saucepan; and these are really easy to clean.

As a keen home cook, I have always enjoyed my Scanpan cookware. They are designed well & made of top quality materials. I wouldn't buy any other brand.
Great quality pan that has terrific nonstick qualities. I make caramels in this pan and nothing sticks. I love the pour spout for easy food transfers.
I had to attach the lid handle. I did NOT like doing that. It wouldn't tighten down properly. Plus, why should have to attach something like that? I do NOT like putting stuff together.
I had a Scanpan Classic Saucepan 18cm/1.8L for about 5 years until the non-stick coating wore off. Regular dishwasher use would have reduced it's life. Love the pouring spouts it's one of the largest saucepans around with spouts. This induction version is excellent, the handle doesn't heat up as much as the previous model which is great. With added steel in the base to make it induction friendly it takes a little longer to heat up on a gas cook top. But a great saucepan. Provided it lasts 5 years or more I'll buy another.
These pots are pricey but well worth the investment. Cleanup after cooking is a cinch with the nonstick surface. High quality pot that lasts for years.
Like all scanpan saucepans, this is a great staple pan every kitchen should have. Due to the even heat dispersion it heats water and food quickly and evenly - as a mother of four small children this is invaluable! I use my scanpan saucepans constantly and they still look as good as the day I bought them. A must for every kitchen, if you havent got one - get them on this website, its so reasonable you can get two saucepans here for the same price as one in a department store.
A sturdy little pan. It has with 2 lips, useful when pouring soup into bowls, but it also means that the lid does not seal (so shouldn't boil over, but needs a touch more heat to keep on the boil). The knob on the lid is flat, so it will balance safely.
