I bought these Scanpan saucepans as a replacement for my 35 year old Esteele set. The Scanpan Coppernox were supposed to be the best. They cook well, but are very heavy and the handles are too thin, making them difficult to work with - they roll in the hand. The thickness of the handle does not support the weight of the saucepan. Somewhat disappointed.

Amazing pans, annoying lids.

Amazing pans, annoying lids!These panda are a perfect size & shape! Super easy to use for multiple dishes, and super light to move around when hot.The lids are annoying, they’re curved with a little lip internally so they catch water & spray it around and they won’t stack securely because of the curve.

I was drawn to the rubber inserts on the handles. My current pot set is fully stainless steel and the pot handles are always too hot to lift from the stove the the bench or sink.Secondly, I was drawn to the look of the pots. I really like the addition of the copper edge around the base. It’s a nice touch. These pots are heavy duty and have clear lids and wash up well. I’m happy with my purchase.

Faultless

I wanted to buy a few replacement saucepans as my husband had managed to burn most of our saucepans handles from years on a gas stove. Having a metal handle I knew would solve this dilemma. I was concerned with reviews saying that the pots were really heavy. But as I have loved my cast iron cooking items I figured I'd test them out. I've used all 4 saucepans and yes they're not light but I wouldn't want one any lighter. I think I may have been overly concerned by people who go for a cosmetic look and have forgotten the art of cooking. If you purchase this item I can't see why you'd be anything less than happy.

Is this the best saucepan ever?

We were after a new 2.5 litre saucepan after the base broke off a cheaper brand we purchased at a kitchenware shop. We have already bought some excellent scanpan kitchen items - knives and a frypna, which have given such excellent service that we'd thought we'd try the saucepan. We have not been disappointed...It is ruggledly constructed but looks slick and modern. The quality of obvious, from the copper base to the beautiful glass lid. We have been using this saucepan every day for the past few months and it still looks like new and performs beautifully. Its actually a pleasure to cook with a product this good.

Lid design could be better

Lid design could be better. Lids have a good seal but good gets stuck up under the lid rim very easily.The pot handles have a nice feel and the pots themselves while heavy are weighted well. Love cooking with the copperbase as it’s easy to control the heat.

Scanpan Coppernox Set.

My last set of cookware lasted 30 years, so I was looking to replace with something that will last the distance. These are solid with comfortable handles to hold. We also purchased the smaller pot so have a good variety of sizes. They also stack into each other well to take up less cupboard space. They work well on my gas cooktop. I've been using these now for 3 months and if I had the ability to change anything, it would be the steam release holes in lid. Not big enough to be effective. more than happy with my purchase so far, and they are pretty 🙂

Terrific Saucepan

This pan is better than I had anticipated. I use an induction stove which only needs a low heat and very rapid response. So with this pan which needs low heat to operate and quick response. Everything is very rapid. Brilliant. I can boil rice on mark 2 normally I would use mark 4 so a 50% save in power but almost 50% save in time too. I would highly reccommend this Brans and style to anyone. Top notch to Kitchenwares Direct too, very efficient service. Thank you

Tittle is good

I always like MYER’s kitchen stuff and cookware . For long time I was looking for Pam’s and finally I got these Pan set. It’s been 2 months now I am using every day. I love this product , solid , heavy base with lid. Easy to clean and use .

great little pan

I bought this as a addition to the 3 pan coppernox set thinking it would be really tiny. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is about the same size as the small saucepan in the 3 piece set I was replacing. So glad I added it to my purchase. It looks like it has a matt finish in the picture but in real life it is super shiny, just lovely to look at. A really solid base makes it a joy to cook with. I have been procrastinating about buying these pans for nearly a year now and so happy I finally have.
