This lid, along with another (different sized) lid of the same brand was purchased at the same time online. Both lids were dented on arrival. Seeking replacement, the DJ replacement policy requires going to a physical store, which is inconvenient for something puchased online, but nevertheless, I travelled to the closest physical store anyway. That store didn't have the same product available, so I will need to search around for another store, but haven't had the time in the last few weeks.I'm sure a non-dented lid probably works fine if you're looking to buy one, though haven't had the chance to try yet.

Some of our fry-pans come without a lid.A bit of a problem when cooking starts splattering.Its so good to have a couple of spare lids when this happens.Several sizes available.And they have a nice handle.Want to cook a perfect steak?Use a larger fry-pan and also use a smaller lid!!Thats right.Let the lid sit directly on top of the steaks.You got it!!

I was really pleased with the ease and speed with which the lid for the Scanpan 8" frying pan arrived - the pan is available in store but the clear glass lid is not; it was delivered free of charge and very promptly.One area you could improve on is ensuring that your staff know that the lid can be supplied; the first two sales people I spoke to did not mention this and I thought that I would have to get a different brand. It was only while I was thinking about what to do that a third sales person approached me and informed me that your company could supply the lid.

I originally purchased my pan without the lid not knowing how much use I would get out of it. I’m so pleased to have come back and purchased this good fitting, quality lid so I can use my pan not just for frying things but also curry, stews and sauces. No issues with this product at all.
the handle on our Tefal casserole dish had broken, so we needed a new lid or a new casserole dish. I visited several stores in Adelaide CBD, but none had a replacement Tefal lid. Fortunately, Myer had an Impact lid of the same size which fits perfectly. Moreover, Myer had a cookware sale on at the time, so I was given a discounted price of $24.97. So I was a happy vegemite: problem solved, and at a good price :-)
It’s very difficult to get excited about a pan lid I have to say but as I have a few minutes spare this morning…What can I say. This lid is 32mm in diameter and so is my pan. Amazing. It’s glass so I can see the food I’m burning. It fits on top of the pan, over the food. Awesome. And it has a handle which is fantastic for lifting the lid off the pan. I probably could go on but you get the picture – it’s a good lid, particularly if you have a 32mm pan to cover, including obviously the Scanpan range of 32mm pots and pans.
We bought this to replace the inferior lid of another branded steamer set. Its fits perectly and has a tight seal. Combined with the weight of the lid the result is that very little steam escapes. Unlike most other lids, the Scanpan Impact lid has a very solid feel.
This lid was purchased as part of my new Scanpan set. Love this cookware. I now have a completely new set and am enjoying using it. Fabulous to have the frypan lid as it stops the spatter from all of my delicious foods cooked in the frypan. And as always delighted with the customer service I received from Myer staff.
The Scanpan 1 litre lid and saucepan are fine. The only problem - I was actually looking for a smaller saucepan with a lid. You can't buy anything smaller these days, they all seem to start at that size.I have a lovely little saucepan, a "Profiline" but a lid didn't come with it.
I like the clear glass and can see the food clearly. The pot lid is heavy and has no venting hole, which means that covering the pot will increase the pressure in the pot, which is suitable for simmering dishes and allowing them to cook quickly. If this is what you want, it's a great choice.
