I own about 6 Scan pans. Those used the most frequently eventually lose their non-stick quality. It's a shame because the shape of the skillets is excellent as is their thermal conductivity. Some are more durable than others, suggesting Scan Pan may have quality control problems.

I just love this fry pan. Its heavy base and coating are fabulous - virtually no fat required. The size is ideal for one person. Works on induction stove. Highly recommended.

I own several pieces of ScanPan cookware,from a wok through sauté pans and skillets of several sizes. I bought the 8? size to make a personal size omelette in. We already owned 1 ScanPan of this size, but my husband and I like different ingredients in our omelettes, hence the need for 2 pans. These pans are definitely non-stick if you follow the instructions and use medium heat. They are easy to clean and perfect for so many uses. I highly recommend ScanPan as a brand.
So far, I?ve bought 3 skillets and 1 sauté pan with lid. They are all the Pro IQ series. I want to collect more pieces but since they are so expensive, I have to wait a few months in-between purchases. I LOVE this cookware! It really does have even heating. Other makers just claim their products heat evenly. Not only that - it is a dream to clean up! And the best part is that I can use regular utensils and tools instead of plastic ones! I just wish that Pro IQ included a bigger saucepan that is between the 3.2 qt and the Dutch oven. These products have a Lifetime warranty/guarantee. They do not lose the surface of the pots ever. That alone is one super reason to buy these products!
I wish not sticking was the only problem because that would be the least of it. I bought these pans because of the smooth bottom and didn't want to scratch my new induction stove. However the oil leave the middle and goes to the sides. I have cooked hamburger patties twice and both times they were very, very slow to cook and cooked unevenly. Some other items also cooked unevenly. I have cooked on this stove with other cookware and it has not cooked unevenly so the stove is not the issue. Very expensive and disappointed with performance
It's a great pan, but a little too large for my stovetop burner & also the sides are somewhat low for my preference. So I bought a CS+ 11", absolutely the best non stick I've ever had. It's the perfect size, love the coating, I like the handle better than the Pro series, the sides are taller, & the stainless finish looks better on the rack with all my other stainless All Clad pans. Been using it daily for over 4 months for breakfast; eggs and or french toast, works awesome for both with little or now butter/oil - love this pan!
Have owned 2 sizes of the Pro IQ skillets and the large 2 handle sautuesse pan for nearly 7 years. Absolutely love them. Won't make eggs in anything else! Lightly wash and wipe dry. They are my preferred pans in the kitchen. I never use metal utensils in my pans - silicone and wood always. Knowing the pans have a lifetime warranty let's me know the company stands by the product. Absolutely love these pans.
I cook often and have a huge Le Creuset collection. But when it came to non stick, I wanted something different. I bought two of these large scanpan professional skillets a couple of years ago and they perform beautifully with daily use. Puts the most awesome sear on beef cuts, makes fish golden while keeping inside tender and handles eggs and frittatas delicately. Even oven safe so I can pop it in the oven under broil if I need to get a nice top sear on something. I'm looking for some smaller ones now. After two years, they're still beautiful, shiny as new and not a single scratch on either one.
I bought this pan specifically to fry eggs-over-easy. Not all pans fry the perfect egg. This one does! I love it. I may fry other delicate foods in it, but for now, it is the perfect fried-egg pan.It distributes heat evenly across the surface. It heats up quickly but does not overheat as some pans do. I hope to buy the larger sizes at some point.
