Non stick surface performs well.I am using it on my AGA and it even fits in the oven when needed (baking or simmering ovens only because of temperature limit).To improve the pan needs another ‘handle’ opposite the main handle to make it easy to carry it when it’s heavy. However if it had that it wouldn’t fit in the AGA oven.

1 star for the aesthetics of the pan and 1 star for the feel of the pan. Washed it right out of the box as per instructions. Then fried eggs, no oil. STUCK! Washed pan again, fried another egg, no oil, lower temp, STUCK AGAIN! 3rd times a charm... sometimes, but not in this case. I'm happy to see EVERYBODY else loves their scanpan pans, wish (badly) I had the same experience. I welcome any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong, sans oiling the pan because I bought it to be able to use it oil free, as I understood from my prepurchase research that this pan was perfect for that.

So far, I?ve bought 3 skillets and 1 sauté pan with lid. They are all the Pro IQ series. I want to collect more pieces but since they are so expensive, I have to wait a few months in-between purchases. I LOVE this cookware! It really does have even heating. Other makers just claim their products heat evenly. Not only that - it is a dream to clean up! And the best part is that I can use regular utensils and tools instead of plastic ones! I just wish that Pro IQ included a bigger saucepan that is between the 3.2 qt and the Dutch oven. These products have a Lifetime warranty/guarantee. They do not lose the surface of the pots ever. That alone is one super reason to buy these products!
A pleasure to cook in. We still have our previous Scanpan IQ 32 cm frying pan bought in May 2017 which has be used once or twice every day for nearly five & a half years, mainly for frying, and is still in use. The non-stick coating is still quite effective but is not so good with frying eggs so we are treating ourselves to a new pan! We also have a 26 cm IQ frying pan, used frequently, but less often for frying, and its non-stick surface is as good as when we bought it. Thoroughly recommend Scanpan.
It is not durable as it advertised. I was using with no higher than med-high heat with silicone utensils, and the pan is still scratched and blistered. It is way overpriced for only last a few month of use.
I've received Scanpan 8" and 10" skillets as a gift over 15 years ago and love them. Recently l ruined the 10". Completely my fault. I didn't clean some stuck on Blueberries from one use and then used the skillet again which bonded the gunk to the surface. After accepting that l had destroyed the nonstick surface in my attempts to clean it l didn't hesitate to replace the old skillet with the new version of the same product.
Fantastic pan! I have never cooked on a pan that was evenly heated throughout! I would love to buy more of these pans and get rid of the ones I've been using. Wonderful product. I highly recommend!
Pan easily got scratched early on (about 3 or so years ago) but they didn't seem to affect the nonstick. I use silicone utensils only now. Go to pan for sunny side up & over easy eggs, still don't stick to pan.
Have owned 2 sizes of the Pro IQ skillets and the large 2 handle sautuesse pan for nearly 7 years. Absolutely love them. Won't make eggs in anything else! Lightly wash and wipe dry. They are my preferred pans in the kitchen. I never use metal utensils in my pans - silicone and wood always. Knowing the pans have a lifetime warranty let's me know the company stands by the product. Absolutely love these pans.
