The knives are not sharp and they have a soft rubberish handle that I have experienced on other knives before this. It eventually becomes sticky and disgusting to touch. The serated edge is very shallow making it half the knife it should be. Better off spending a bit more and getting the hard handled deeper serated knife by scanpan.

I love these knives. They are excellent for slicing tomatoes. I bought these to replace a set I had for many years which I ruined the handles by putting them in the dishwasher

The knives are not sharp and they have a soft rubberish handle that I have experienced on other knives before this. It eventually becomes sticky and disgusting to touch. The serated edge is very shallow making it half the knife it should be. Better off spending a bit more and getting the hard handled deeper serated knife by scanpan.

The set are 6 coloured, which is great. They are great for different occasions. I have had mine for about five years now and have been good. After daily use the colour does start to wear off. They must have been good because someone has stolen them.
I purchased these recently. They are great to use BUT should not be washed in dishwasher. After being in the dishwasher rust marks appear which have to be scrubbed off with a hex. I should have taken heed of the advise given above. It really should have said DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER.
I purchased my first set (6) of these Scanpan steak knives a few months ago and they are so good that I purchased a second set recently (To have a full set for when family & friends visit). I highly recommend them. I芒鈧劉ve previously purchased big brand name steak knives but they all seem to saw through the meet not a patch on these Scanpan ones that cut the meat beautifully. Btw I never wash my steak knives, or any good sharp cutting knives, in the dishwasher.
I have used these daily for many years & love them. They will remain sharp for ever but dishwashing will eventually crack or discolour the plastic handles & the painted blades will start to peel -time for a new set as nothing lasts forever! Handwashing is the recommendation given with the product but the customer should weigh up the options.
Pro; These knives look good. The har nicely balanced and feel goo to use. They are sharp but the rounded end keeps them safe for everyday use. Cons; We put them on the top tray in the dishwasher where they are lined up sise by side not touching anything they do however still get the rust spots of the bery edge of the blade where the stainless steel is exposed during the bevel sharpening. We are warned that they should not be put inot the dishwasher. We think that if we get a couple of years out of them while still cleaning them in the dishwasher that they are cheap enough to replace.
Ive been using the knives for years and my latest said Im included the forks. They look great partner together on the dinner table. And what a terrific price. At least a third cheaper than a local shop.
