Schleich makes a huge variety of sturdy, realistic animals. My 5 year old dinosaur loving grandson loves this raptor! He was thrilled to discover that you can open and close the velociraptor's mouth. I have a large collection of Schleich animals at my house for the grandkids to play with. The kids will entertain themselves for long periods of time with the animals. Schleich plastic animals are sturdy enough to play with outdoors. They can go in water as well. These toys are a great way to encourage imagination and creativity, as well as teaching about each species.
My son absolutely loves this velociraptor! The articulated jaw and moving arms make it an excellent toy, and the detail and vibrant colours capture the imagination. As usual for Schleich, great quality and will last for years to come.

A little larger than I was expecting but great features with the moving mouth and arms, my three year old loves it.
Finding out the mouth can be moved was a fun surprise. It’s sturdy enough to take a bite out of a Tyson Dino chicken nugget.
I was delighted to give this toy dinosaur to a young friend for Christmas. I know with his imagination and creativity he will have many hours of adventures and fun.
The velociraptor has taken stage with Blue from Jurassic Park this raptor is a beauty.
