Great colours - I combine two colours to get the colour I like , covers grey roots well. Colour lasts - only have to redo every 5 weeks as my hair grows so fast.

This Covered the gray in my dark brown hair. I threw the rest of the tube away after only one use however because the color is VERY FLAT and unnatural looking. The 'chocolate' in the name should have clued me to the fact that this also has a very red undertone that my hair picks up as pinkish. EEEK! I used everything I could find to try and remove the color and the reviews are correct in that it doesn't wash out easily! Glad my hair is short and this will be cut out quickly as I hurry back to my Davines Mask in a nice quiet Ash.
I've been a professional hairdresser for 27 years. I've been using Schwartzkopf hair color for 20 years. I finally tried the Absolute color line and was very disappointed in the overall results... So was my client. I used 8-05 1:1 30 vol. processed for 45 mins. on 100%white hair. The roots took on a hot gold/brassy color but were more muted off the root. To fix this problem, I applied Schwartzkopf Royal 8.0 1:1 20 vol. processed for 30 mins. Perfect! The brassy roots were neutralized, problem solved. I will never use this again! This color is designed to cover 100% white!?? Not! Better off using Royal 1/2 8.00 - 1/2 8.5 30 vol. 45 mins.
Effectively covers my grey roots. The colour I use is in the dark blond range.The colour fades by 3 weeks to about 2 shades lighter.I've only used one other brand and it faded more than the Igora Royal.
This is my new brand! Covers gray like no other brand! "Absolutes" are double pigmented specially to cover gray hair. Brand recommends volume 30 for "Absolutes". It comes out darker than the color chart. Suggest using a booster for translucency to avoid flat solid color. Overall love it!
This colour is perfect for a light blond colour all over, without a brash or yellow tint, it looks natural
