I purchased 4 of these for my grands for Christmas. I enjoyed this type of tin kaleidoscope when I was a child and my children did when they were young. So glad that I can still find these. They are colorful and easy for little hands and even my hands. Great small gift for children of all ages.

We purchased this a few months back and have enjoyed it so much during that time. I bought it mainly because I've had such trouble finding one that was beautiful and simple like I remembered from growing up. Our kiddos took to it right away and I find them grabbing it fairly often to look through it at all of the beautiful colors and patterns. It makes gentle sounds when it's turned and the pieces move about, and you get the most gorgeous patterns. It's beautiful, calming, and a treasured item in our household. I'd definitely recommend it!

I find it difficult to buy gifts for children, especially children I dont know personally. I usually err on the side of an old fashioned toy. These kaleidoscopes are exactly like one I had as a child. I bought two of these and gifted one and the little boy was fascinated! He had never seen a kaleidoscope before.
