The color of this helmet is metallic gloss purple not matt burgundy as shown in photo. Looks much better in person than in photo. I purchased this from Start for a great price. However, the helmet was conspicuously labeled and packaged as “SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE” which likely explains the price.

After adding this to my basket and then binning it on more than one occasion, i eventually bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on this. Well worth it, notable upgrade from the Giro Aeon that i had been wearing previously. Intending to keep this for racing but suspect it's going to be used all the time. Hot with the aero plugs fitted, too hot for me anyway, and not sure if they really make a huge difference but its really very well ventilated without the plugs and the fit is perfect for me, the small fit my 56cm head at least, technically i should be a medium but it fits me fine. Straps and general construction are excellent, matches my Scott Foil quite nicely.

I recently got this helmet to use for duathlons and since I don’t have a TT bike I didn’t want a full on aero. I also hoped to use it for training rides, but I was concerned about cooling. So far, except 1 issue, I am very happy with the helmet and will likely make it my main helmet for most road rides. The helmet provides good ventilation and cooling when you are going, say 18 mph or faster , but won’t be the best choice for long slow speed climbs.My issues with the helmet is the sweat guard separated from the Velcro backing that attaches it to the helmet, after just one use. I’m returning this one for another, hoping the replacement won’t have the same issue.

This helmet is very lightweight, and the size large fits me very well (size 61cm head). I don’t look like a mushroom.It has the newest MIPS system so doesn’t have the plastic shell inside, which is great.The only thing I wish it had better was a sunglasses retaining function. You can put your sunglasses in there, but there’s no rubber grip to help it stay in place. Overall very happy with this.
I am cycling in the heat hills and humidity of GA. This helmet is super lightweight and airy. I love it. Have it in two colors.
I imagine this helmet might be more comfortable for people with hair. If it fits your head shape I whole heartedly recommend it based on looks alone. For me, there was a spot just above where a hairline would be (if I had hair) where there was direct contact between the hard foam of the helmet and my head. It was enough of a pressure point that I had to return the helmet. It’s sad because it really looks good. Hard to subtract points when at least half of the issue is the shape of my head.
Very comfortable and lightweight helmet. Site securely in place with comfortable straps. Sizing seems quite generous as I usually have to adjust helmets to max size with other brands, this helmet has room to spare for me.

The title says it all, I found this helmet to be very confortable on the two rides I used it. I'm new to road cycling so time will tell if it stays confortable on longer rides but no complains so far. The straps stays flat on your checks and even though my ears are on the bigger side the straps weren't bugging me at all.
Just received the helmet and by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. Won't be able to test on road this week as under heat advisory here in GA and I will default to my Scott Centric helmet which I know is airy
