I bought this after previously using Munns. (Pricing, thought I’d try it ] not one area I seeded germinated. Top dressed an existing lawn in sunny location, sowed in fresh top soil, raked over and watered, top dressed in an afternoon shady area. Very frustrated.

I had some very worn out areas in my Sir Walter Buffalo grass, after tradies had finished a project. Constant heavy wheeled items, and foot traffic took its toll on my lawn.I Googled the best way to fill lawn gaps and came across this product. After I spread out compost on the bare areas, and levelled it with a rake and soil leveller, I then added plenty of this seed.I was consistent and constant with watering (at least four times per day) and to my amazement within 5 days I have blades of grass measuring at least 1.5cm! The areas I seeded, only basically receives full sun in the afternoon for maybe 2 hours tops.This seed mix is Rye and Tall Fescue, and it is doing the job of filling in some larger areas, very nicely.

Previously this has been great and my lawn had been perfectly green.(I buy a few boxes at a time and do different sections of my lawn at a time. The last few times I have bought it I think it has been full of paspalum seeds or something because there's more paspalum than grass in these new spots I have used it. I used a standard weed killer for the paspalum and the entire lot of new grass is dead.
