I bought this for my new orchid and didn't realise (until too late) that the soil was completely filled with fungus gnats. Had to throw all the potting mix out and am still dealing with the resulting infestation. Avoid

Bought few months back and when I added on my orchid all fungus started to grow. I thought I Overwatered. Again i reported. Again fungus. Third Time I reported and again fungus appreared n two of my healthy orchid is is dead now. They were so healthy for 3 years flowering. I regret buying this. Only one orchid left with v little hope. I’m buying another mixture. V v v disappointed.

In the past couple I've bought 2 bags and both times they were filled with mould. The first time I thought it would be fine and potted up my plants... it was not fine, the mould spread and I had to repot them all. The 2nd bag I got to repot them was also filled with mould, had to let it dry out in the sun for a week before I could use it. Never buying again

I've tried several different orchid potting mixes and this is the standout product. It has a good mixture of coarse material with some finer stuff and plenty of nutrient. Cymbidiums seem to thrive in it.

This was basically just potting mix being sold at a higher price because they call it orchid potting mix, its the worst orchid mix I have EVER come across, will NEVER buy this product again! It certainly ISN'T a premium mix, just garbage.
This is the worst orchid potting mix I have ever used.. supposed to be course and it’s just the rubbish off the bottom of the pile. The packaging is pour as most of the bags the seams had come apart..
i bought 3 bag 2 potting mix and 1 chucky mix repotted some plates and then notices i had gnuts flying around so i went to check the container that i mixed the soil in and closed the lid. on opening the lid i found heaps of these fungus gnats in the soil that proceeded to invade our home .I am very disgusted that we think that we are buying the best and we get this kind of product.I have rare plants and this is a big worry.
Perfect manageable size to do the routine repotting job.Great quality .. you can almost see the new spikes growing.
Bought a bag recently and potted up a couple of orchids before discovering that it contained black fungus gnats that proceeded to invade our home - nasty little things that I have had difficulty eliminating (hopefully!).
