the knife tool is so difficult to remove from the magnetic handle that it represents a risk of injury, and can only be removed without the protective being removed from the blade.

Sculpey clay tools facilitate a convenient control when working troughs & valleys in medium which offer resistance such as clay & modeling paste. They probably also work well for controlling detail effects for oil or acrylic brush-work but I 've never tried them for that. Each has a no slip surface and the back ends are also shaped to help move paint around. They are a niche tool & there really is no down side.

I love that the tips are magnetic, so no struggling to pop them out (especially the blade).I have limited space so this set is perfect.However, I work in miniature, and I wish the other ball tool sets that Blick carried could compete in price. I nearly purchased them, but liked the cost of this much better. Glad to try them out, but next time I can afford it I might try the other set to see how the size works.

I got this thing years ago when I decided I wanted to try my hand at polyclay. That didn't stick, but now I'm in Ceramics at my community College and this thing is a blessing. The silicone tips are firm, they don't bend easily. The metal tips are strong. The magnetic attachment is good enough the bits don't fall out as I use them, but also when I'm cleaning clay off the tip or the edge of the bit, it does come out very easily if im not paying a lot of attention. My instructor even noticed how good this little things is. I'm going to send him the link.
I love the 5-in-1 clay tool! The curved blade is the best cutting tool for raw polymer clay that I have come across. The magnetic hold is superb and I never have issues with any tool falling out of the handle. The sculpting tools works great. I love this so much that I have bought two of them!
This is a very nice product. The heads attach to the handle securely by magnet and it's easy to swap one out for another. I only wish there was a spot in the head holder for the handle as well.
I purchased these to have a dedicated set when working with oil based clays when creating models for plaster molds. I purchased 3 different sets for a variety of tools and they work well for my current projects. I would buy these again should I need another set.
Bought these for my son who was working on a sculpting project. He really liked these tools,Especially how easy they were to grip.
Honestly pretty good I’m a beginner and it’s easy to use. I do feel like I need to buy more tools later down the road but for right now and the $$ I spent I’m really satisfied
The sculpture 5 in 1 tool cuts clay chunks very well. The extra tips support any fine detailed work that may be needed.
