I bought two of these towels for a camping trip in Scotland with my partner. They are so tiny (stuff into a tiny sack they come with) and were perfect for our carry on luggage as they took up no space at all (I bough the size large). A huge selling feature for me was that it was made of mostly recycled materials (bonus!) I like the colour and size options for this product. I especially like the compact nature and light weight packability. The towel material is flimsy and I doubted it's ability to dry very well. It's ok and gets basic drying needs met. It's not beach towel but for back up, and just having something on hand, it's fine. I don't typically like the feel of polyester and thought (well, hoped) it might be softer. It's a fairly tight weave so the fabric doesn't snag on my hands like some micro cloths do. I'm willing to try it. Would be tempted to go a bit bigger, this medium size will require some wringing and patchy drying for long hair and after swim / shower use. Will also have to keep a tight hold on it for windy days at the ocean!

When this towel arrived, I was dumbfounded - how could such a small package hold a towel that will be useful ? Throwing caution to the wind, I brought it as my only towel on a weekend camping trip. It was perfect, the thin material managing to hold on to enough water in order to dry out a big hairy dude, and then drying out in a few hours in the sun. Do mind the size though - these are not your typical towel size, and you should go XL if you want anything more than something to dry yourself after a shower.

This is my second AirLite Towel. Purchased the Small to carry as an EDC. It is the size of a full hand towel (larger than a face towel which would be their XXS). I say for emergency use since it is light, dries quickly, and compact with its own stuff sack, but the material is rougher and less absorbent so you may not want to use it on a regular basis. It is good for its intended use.
This towel is large enough to be able to dry my back and so tiny and light. Dries pretty quickly.The feature I don’t like is the little button that attaches to the inside of the bag it came with. It’s weird to have the bag attached when using the towel but it isn’t something I can attach to my pack for the towel to dry while I hike. It does not interfere with the usefulness of the towel.

Love love love. I bought the XL for myself and my husband. I was skeptical at first because they didn't look or feel like they'd dry a dinner plate after being washed. BUT they worked amazingly. Dried my whole body and didn't leave my crazy curly hair a sopping wet mess. After, we hung them up at camp and they dried quickly. They pack down small and they're incredibly light. Well worth the cost and I intend to purchase more for gifts for other campers in my life.
This is a great little towel. I rolls up to the size of a lemon and will dry me completely. Dries fast too. A great product that does what it says it will do. I can't attest to durability because I just got it this week, but it seems well-made and Sea to Summit is known for its well thought out designs and quality materials.
Once in a while you find a product that you just do not understand. This is one of those products.How can something so small, so lightweight, and so thin hold so much water? I can wipe down half of my 12 foot hammock tarp, twist out the morning dew, and then dry the other side.I just don't understand why I never picked up this before. About the size of my three year old grandsons fist. This is something to just keep in every pack for when you need to dry off, wipe off the sweat or just clean up at the end of the day.
The website gives accurate dimensions of its size but I was still impressed with how compact it is. When rolled up it is half the size of my balled fist.Putting it back into the stuff sack is pretty easy. I folded it along the shorter side to match the length of the stuff sack then rolled it a tight as I could. It then slips into the sack with room to spare. Definitely make sure it's fully dry before putting it away.For its size it's perfect for personal use.
