I bought this for my moto camping kitchen setup, and it's an awesome piece of gear. While weight isn't the primary concern space is when packing to go on extended camping trips on a motorcycle and this pot is perfect! Now can now cook much larger things like pasta for 4, heat up the sauce, heat up enough water for many people to have coffee in the morning, or hydrate our dried meals. Being totally collapsable with a built-in strainer, and easy to hold handle it's versatile, the perfect addition to any camp kitchen when space is at a premium.

Use it only one time, and worked great! As I mentioned in the title, its most important feature (to me) is that is very compact. The downside... it is heavier (weights around 10oz) than metal pots (some can weight 5oz or less) for the same volume. But, if you prioritize volume over weight (that's what I wanted), this is a very interesting option.Another feature that I appreciate is the it cool down quickly, the 30s is very accurate.I really like the fact all the important use instructions are printed in the pot, some on the lid and some on the bottom, and doesn't seem to will erase. Even though once you learn how to use it, don't need the instructions anymore, if you borrow it to some friend, or if you sell it, or anything... the instructions will still ... MoreUse it only one time, and worked great! As I mentioned in the title, its most important feature (to me) is that is very compact. I had an older version of this pot, and until my son burned it up by misusing it, it worked great! Respect the fill line; I boiled it over on the first use and got quinoa all over my cap stove. :( The boil time is relatively fast; you can't believe that aluminum really does the trick, but it does. My other bowl nested inside it nicely and the lid fits perfect, helping the water to boil faster. It cleaned up really well and held plenty for my hiking buddy and I. Don't blast your flame to over-reach the sides, and it will work perfectly!

Ya know when you go backpacking with a crew of 8 or more people...... No one wants to carry the BIG pot in their pack. Its too bulky! It won't fit! Who ate my Snickers!?! Yeah, you know... Well, this pot fixes everything but the stolen candy bar. It folds, it flattens, and it fits! Just remember to pack wisely and not have your growler of home brew packed next to the lid. Somebody is not gonna be happy. The S2S Summit X-Pot works and folds down. Good buy from people who give great service. Shough I never got that backrub they promised.....Hmmmmm.
Made life simple…. I have a few of these and they do the job. Clean up and pack down super fast. Lids are strong and can handle being toasted around in backpack with lots of gear.
We have sold our house and are living for a couple of years in our "Land Boat" - an Airstream trailer. While roomy, two people, 2 cats and a dog take a bit of space and every item in the new abode needs to have maximum functionality. This includes storage. What better solution than a collapsible vessel that not only works perfectly on gas and glass top stove but also is attractive enough to serve the food in.After the use on the land boat (aka Airstream) the pot will move to our ocean boat, a sailboat, on which we take long trips with much cooking and eating. All in all a terrific product. I have recommended it to friends, and will purchase more of this line as needed.
I bought this last fall but haven’t used it until this summer. On only my second use, it developed two small cracks at the base, so it leaked and was useless to cook with. I have a very small Soto burner so the flame did not touch the runner. I have been a fan of Sea to Summit this far, but not any more. Way too expensive to last for only one use.
Extremely light weight, and practical, with a brilliantly compact design. Everything I need, I check if Sea to Summit made a version. Their pots and other cookware are the best. I even used it wrong and they replaced it extremely efficiently, no questions asked.
It is very compact and there is a lid attachement with some holes in the lid to drain pasta or let the steam goes out. Perfect for activities with limited space and relatively light. It is now my preferred cauldron for all my outdoor activities.
X-pots are fantastic! We have all three sizes, as well as the kettle. The ability to collapse nest them is a huge benefit, when space is limited. I use mine for everything from overnight backpacking to multi week road trips. User tips would be: cook slow and low, and make sure the metal bottom is appropriately sized for your stove, to keep the silicone sides from being exposed to open flame.
