The Comfort Deluxe self-inflating sleep mat has been designed to fulfill the expectations of the most demanding camping customer. The Rectangular Regular Sleeping Mat with 10 cm of plush thickness give you space to sprawl. It Utilises the innovative Delta Core technology, which keeps body contact areas warmer while still offering great support and can also be packed very small. To make inflation and deflation easier, Sea to Summit developed the multi-function valve. This valve integrates an inflate port with a one-way valve to prevent air loss before you seal the valve, a rapid air dump deflate port, and a fine tune button to adjust for comfort - all in one compact, low profile unit. It has also been designed to allow easy attachment of a pump, for simpler inflation. The mat is also equipped with The Pillow Lock System. Attached to your sleeping mat, patches secure your pillow and prevent it slipping – yet they will not snag on clothing or other lightweight fabrics. All Sea to Summit P.

I have two mattresses (air & SI) in 25" widths and had issues sleeping. My knee, elbow or bum was hanging off the sleeping pad because of my sleep positions, but not on the Comfort Deluxe. I'm a plus-size lady (2x) and now I can lie on my back without my arms sliding off the mat - and side sleeping has never been more comfortable. I can scissor kick and spread with no issues.I love this sleeping pad so much, I've started paddling with it for camping - and I may even try (suffering) to backpack it in. The extra weight for a good night's sleep is a good trade off.I'd recommend this mattress to anyone who'll listen.

Perfect luxury or car camping. By far one of the most comfortable out there. Obviously too heavy and bulky to take backpacking. I removed one star because it does not self-inflate that well; it inflated to maybe 60% and I had to do the rest. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with an inflation bag (like the Nemo pads for example) which means unless you have a pump (which is not included) you're blowing a fair amount of humid air from your lungs into the foam material, which tends to develop mold inside pads (which is why inflation bags are awesome).

This seems to be the biggest discussed issue. We like to minimise what we carry so we will not buy a 12v deflator. Best method is to roll up the mat roughly and kneel on the roll. Insert the plugs then unroll (does not reinflate) roll up tightly and it always fits easily into the bag. Note kneeling on the roll when rolled up helps to expel the last of the air. We would not be without these mats now whenever we are car camping. Try the Sea to Summit inflatable mats when you are carrying and sleeping out. They have the same valve system and are really lightweight and small with good comfort.

First, took this out this weekend to the Latimer Boy Scout Reservation. Temperature dropped to 18 degrees and i never felt it. I had a good sleeping bad with a liner but the mattress pad kept the cold off my back. Do not kid yourself this is a heavy item but worth its weight in gold. Also, this is my second pad after the had a problem and the company's customer service was excellent. I have bought several more items lately (including the liner) because of they stood behind their products.
I’ve tried a number of sleeping pads for camping trips and they all seemed a bit uncomfortable and not thick enough. This pad, however, has been amazing! It self inflates in about an hour (I breathe into it to add a bit more air after) and it’s good to go. Very comfortable sleep and packs down pretty small. Would be a bit big for hiking potentially, but if you have the space it’s definitely worth it for a more comfortable pad. Highly recommend it and I feel like it’s worth the price.
Tried this out briefly and it was incredibly comfortable (better than my normal mattress at home?), and seemed to be fantastic quality, however I think it is too large for me. I measured it and it was a full 2 inches longer and 2 inches wider than the specs on the STS and Altitude Sports website said. Not a problem for me, but it may make fitting into certain tents a bit of a hassle. I am actually hoping that the regular size will also run big as I think that would be the perfect size for me.
I love this mattress! It's better to sleep on that my bed at home. I travel all over the US for work and I sleep in my SUV most nights. I've been using this on the road for 9 months with a total of 20 days at home and one night every week in a hotel. I definitely sleep better on my Comfort Deluxe than a regular bed.One thing that would be really nice is a rip cord attached to both tab ends of the valve cover. I've regularly slept on my Comfort Deluxe in 0ºF down to -9ºF temperatures. The plastic valve covers are very hard at those temperatures and hard to grab. Something longer to pull on would make it really easy to release the air in the mattress when the weather is cold. 30ºF and above doesn't seem to matter; the valve cover plastic is flexible enough to grab ... We purchased the double pad before our first child joined us. I was a little worried the pad would be hard to roll up and its size. Both of those fears are not a problem and I find rolling up the mat only takes to rolls. I fold it in half (with both valves open) I roll most of the air out. Close both valves and then unroll it and stretch the pad (still fold in half along its length) out a little and roll it up again once I get near the end I open one of the valves. Finish with squeezing the last of the air out and closing the valve and slide easily into the bag. There have been a couple of nights we have been to lazy to inflate it the whole way and it is still pretty good.
Used this during the Rebelle Rally for 8 nights of camping after long days of driving. This sleeping pad was absolutely perfect! It is incredibly comfortable. My team mate and I both used one, we both like our mattresses at different comfort levels, and the ability to adjust the firmness is amazing. They are super warm as well. Neither of us were cold with a 50F bag and liner with this sleeping pad.It does take a while to fully inflate. I recommend blowing up at home and leaving it inflated for 2-3 days before using. Once it has settled a little it take much less puffing to fully inflate. It does and up being considerably larger once it has settled when packed. Sure I problem could have tried harder to get less air out of it to pack, but it fits in the bag, so ... MoreUsed this during the Rebelle Rally for 8 nights of camping after long days of driving. It is worth every penny.
Just used these at King of The Hammers, actually borrowed from a friend. The nights were around 26-28 F and these worked perfectly! My husband and I have a queen sleeping bag. I was concerned the pads would slide apart at night since we didn’t strap them together, but we had no problems! My husband moves around a lot at night, so odds of them sliding would be high. They stayed perfectly together though. The kept us extremely warm. In fact, the part of my body that was towards the mat was warmer much warmer than what just had the bag. They are very plush and comfortable. They can take a few more breaths than I would like to inflate though. Next time we will bring a inflating pump/ sack for this. They are also much tougher to roll and fit into the sac than I would ... MoreJust used these at King of The Hammers, actually borrowed from a friend.
