Used this for the first time on a beach-camping weekend. It is extremely easy to inflate using the airbag that is super-conveniently incorporated into the stuff sack. Sleeping on my back, I was completely off the ground. A bit of contact on hips and shoulders when side-sleeping, but better than my previous pad and still quite comfortable. The temperatures were fairly warm (around 60F), so not a challenging test, but I did not feel any loss of body heat through the ground. It deflates quickly and is easily packed back into its sack. Light and small. I am very happy with it.

I went from a $30 amazon mat to this. It checks all the boxes: it's comfortable, it's quiet, it stays inflated all through the night, and it's really easy to inflate/deflate. With the stuff sack, inflating only takes me three breaths. I am 5'10 and 170lbs, back and side sleeper. With a size Regular, I have room at the head and foot and have no issue staying on the pad. I've paired this with the Sea to Summit Ascent 25-degree bag and been warm in 35 degree nights no problem. Haven't tested colder.My only complaint is, I honestly thought it was going to be a bit smaller than it is. I'm a bikepacker and it's definitely light enough, but I haven't found a convenient spot for it on my bike so I still need to keep it in a backpack. I always like to wait until I've used items like this multiple times before I write a review so I can be sure to really road test it. When I first received these sleeping pads, I was leery about how thin and lightweight the material was and was concerned they would puncture easily or otherwise be fragile, and I was also concerned they wouldn't be as comfortable as my older (and more bulky) pads. My wife and I purchased these sleeping pads in 2015 to use for backpacking, but we have found them so comfortable that we use them for car camping too. They are easy/quick to inflate and deflate, roll up easy and take up little room in a car or backpack. As for comfort, I've read reviews saying they aren't so hot for side sleepers. My wife and I both find them very comfortable--but I'd note that our sleep mattress at home is rated extra firm. When the temps dip down into the 30s or below, we also use a closed cell foam pad under the Sea-to-Summit pads. As I noted, these are now the pads we use whenever we camp, and we've had no failures over the 7 years we've used them. We think they are great and will keep on enjoying their comfort and ease of use.

The stuff sack has this weird inner bladder that you are supposed to inflate with air and then roll up to squeeze the air into the pad. This thing just irritates me. The fitting on the bladder does not stay securely in the pad, so much of the air escapes while trying to breathe into it. You also have to use several breaths to inflate the bladder which means you have to awkwardly try to close the top part off while you inhale. If you aren't super careful, the fitting on the bottom will disconnect. As I was fiddling with it, I thought "why not just blow into the mattress and skip this weird bladder thing?" I purchased this one for 2 reasons - my daughter would not go camping without a comfortable sleeping mat and so she uses the comfort plus. Second, i wanted something lighter for trekking. So if your car camping and don't have to worry about weight go for the comfort plus. Its amazingly comfortable. The comfort light is also very good, but not quite as comfortable as the comfort plus. Regarding noise - yes it is noisy. It doesn't wake me up but my daughter is a light sleeper. She was so comfortable on the comfort plus that she didn't wake up from the noise. If comfort and weight are your considerations you can't go past this the comfort light it's an awesome mat. If you don't have to worry about weight then go for something in the sea to summit range that's heaver and more comfortable. Value for money is excellent - you cannot put a price on a good nights sleep.
Side sleeper. Used it for 4 night on the Abel Tasman in December with one of Sea to Summit inflatable pillows taking advantageof their pillowlock system (it worked much better than expected), so haven't tested the R value rating.Easy to inflate the mat using the bag system, after inflating to max needed to release a small amount of air via the Duel valves which was easy to do, was comfortable to sleep on.Not sure if it was my mat or the tent floor but there was some noise if I moved around.
took my comfort lite mat out to the rockies in august this year and had surprisingly great sleep on this thing. when its nice and full it keeps myhips off the ground which is new for me. spent 4 nights on the ct and was warm and cozy. the pump sac makes it easy to inflate the mat and my aeros xl pillow. i would love a discount code to grab the spark quilt with a liner :) durability is a concern with how lightweight it is but if i can get 2 seasons and a total of 30 nights with it i will be happy with the money spent

I was told that the pad had a (rare) manufacturing defect that couldn't be fixed and was promptly sent a new one. This one holds air fine so far (I've had it and used it consistently for ~3 months). It's a comfortable pad, quiet, and feels like a soft mattress. I think it's the most comfortable for back sleepers and those who prefer a plusher mattress in "frontcountry" life. My partner has a backpacking pad from another company that feels firmer and would maybe be preferable to a side sleeper, but this one is warm, comfortable, and at least this one appears to be fairly durable.
