Great Mattress and Customer Service

I'm super pleased with the new mattress that is much quieter and has a "pillow lock" technology.

My boyfriend and I recently bought ourselves the comfort plus, sea to summit sleeping pads for our car camping road trip. The trip is about a month long and these sleeping pads are saving our backs! It's, by far, the most comfortable I've been camping. I have a couple of back issues which usually distract me through the night but with the comfort plus sleeping pad, i'm able to sleep through the night. I've also come to find that it really helps me stay warm during those brisk nights. I believe the r-rating is a 5.2, which should work for all four seasons. My boyfriend feels exactly the same. His only issue is that he's pretty tall, 6'4", and the mat just barely fits his length.Overall it's a great sleeping pad and we'd highly recommend them, especially if you're ... MoreMy boyfriend and I recently bought ourselves the comfort plus, sea to summit sleeping pads for our car camping road trip. When I ordered the sleeping pads my postal system ended up returning them a week before our trip. So I called up the company and was instantly connected and talking to someone. Matthew was his name. He heard my concerns, looked up the order, and shipped it back as soon as he could so they'd be back in time for our trip. They were extremely understanding even though it was my postal system that made the mistake.Along the way, Matthew continued to email and call to update us on the status. Thank you so much!

I LOVE the sleeping pad for car camping! It's a glorified portable mattress. It's TO big for backpacking or bikepacking. However; I did contact Sea To Summit inquiring about special order to shorten the pad to 47 inches. Their esponse was "it will take 4 to 5 months and cost $700. I told them "I will wait the 2 to 3 years when it is offered in production and stating it will sale"!

Meets my sleeping pad needs!
22 March 2023

Bought this after another company's pad failed after 5 nights use. I find the surface material pleasing to touch, the thickness is perfect and comfy. The width and length also comfy. I am a male, but bought this Women's pad since I am a side sleeper and the sizing meets my needs. Very happy!

25 July 2022

I originally bought this sleeping pad in 2019, but noticed it leaking in 2021. I had also recommended it to friends and theirs were also leaking. Once we contacted S2S they replaced all of our pads with new ones due to a known manufacturing problem. Great product, and great service.

Sleeping Pad
7 January 2023

This is great. It's the first time I've tried a self inflating pad. It is more comfortable than my current cushion sleeping pad, and it's shaped better (instead of a rectangle) so my arms or knees (side/3/4 side sleeper) stay on the pad and don't get cold at night. I used this in 20° weather, and along with my sleeping bag, I was warm and comfortable all night. Highly recommend.

So comfy!
2 May 2021

This camping mat is incredibly comfortable, especially for side sleepers with bony hips and shoulders. It is still quite light, despite its thickness. It also doesn't make that loud, distracting crinkly noise that a lot of ultra-light mats make. If you can carry the extra weight and you can spare the added room, it's worth it for a good night's rest. Not ideal for backcountry backpacking or long canoe trips with long portages where weight/space are a premium. Good for all other camping, including canoe trips without long portages or backcountry camping where you won't be moving your campsite often. Good for three-season camping.

So comfy, I'll even take it backpacking. Say goodbye to back and hip pain!
6 October 2019

When I was a teenager, I slept on the ground. When my first kid got to cub scouts, I had a thermarest pad that was a whole inch thick (luxurious at the time). But I've passed 45 and ready to backpack with #3 son, I quickly discovered that my old setup meant I was so stiff on day 2 of camping that hip and back were screaming. I tried out air mattresses that sounded crinkly, and foam that was too thin. Compared to the others, the comfort plus SI was like memory foam! The salesperson warned me that it's heavy for backpacking, but I'm upgrading 13 yr old gear. I can now get a super cushy pad with a great R factor, and an extra warm sleeping bag, without picking up any weight compared to what I had before. I can now get a super cushy pad with a great R factor, and an extra warm sleeping bag, without picking up any weight compared to what I had before. If you are fast and light, or you're under 40, you've got plenty of featherweight choices for backpacking. But if you get back or hip pain, especially as a side sleeper who bottoms out on a thin pad, then go for it. The cool valve system makes it super easy to inflate, and I found it easy to get air out with the one way valve. It won't keep reinflating as you go. I rolled it up full width, then unrolled, folded in half, and rolled again. It's chunkier than the crinkly air pads, but it packs up about the same as my 2006 Thermarest women's prolite (72" pad). I did need the large as I'm 5'8" and women's pads now top out at 66". I spent last night in the woods and only woke up once the whole night. I was not stiff this morning. Love it!

Wanted to love this mat, some pros and some cons.

I have been hunting for a warm and comfortable sleeping pad for a few months now and read tons of reviews. I was really excited about this mat because of the open cell foam, R value, and non slip features. It wasn't for me unfortunately, I returned it after one use but I'm glad to have tried it. I give it 3 stars because for a small person, I think it would be fine but for an average built person it's pretty small and confining, unless you sleep on your back the whole night through maybe...What I did like:-It had a nice, soft surface. If you use a quilt, this is lovely.-Pillow lock is a nice bonus-Easy to inflate (takes a little extra oomph the first inflation but it is compatible with the Ether Light pump sack) I promise it will puff up.- Even though it's ... MoreI have been hunting for a warm and comfortable sleeping pad for a few months now and read tons of reviews. If you use a quilt, this is lovely.-Pillow lock is a nice bonus-Easy to inflate (takes a little extra oomph the first inflation but it is compatible with the Ether Light pump sack) I promise it will puff up.- Even though it's touted for car camping, I think it could be worth it to backpack with if you are not ultralight oriented.- It did keep me (A quite cold sleeper) warm at about -5 Celsius. If you sleep cold and use it for deep winter, pair it with a 2nd mat.-The valve is effective and easy to use to deflate it with the one way feature (just twist it so the bottom is out and when you roll it up, this prevents reinflation)-If you are a good "roller" the stuff sack works for the size just fine, it's just a matter of keeping it tightly rolled from the get go.What I didn't like:- I am a bit of a tosser, turner and end up generally sleep on my front or side, and this pad was just too narrow and short for me (I'm 5'3" with an average build. A petite person might have better luck) Either my feet or head were a bit off the ends. When I tried sleeping on my back, my elbows hit the cold ground. It was just too small and I don't think I could have gotten used to it,-The anti-slip features didn't keep my bag in place, I had to camp on a slight slope with it and trusted the anti slip to help, as it is marketed to do so.- Even after deflating slightly for a bit of a softer sleep surface, I found it a little too firm (if you like a firmer surface you will probably like this better)-As with any SI mat, you will probably have to double roll it to push all the air out (less of a dislike and more a reality with SI mats)Overall, I think it is a good mat for a much smaller, quieter sleeper than myself. If you are restless and all over the place, then look for a rectangular mat, or consider the long/wide as this will be too confining.

Well Thought Out Product

I did a lot of research before purchasing this sleeping mat bc it’s a pricey investment for something I will only use a few times per year. The Women’s Comfort Plus SI is perfect for me! The unique shape was a big draw. I sleep on my stomach and can kick my knee out without it hanging off the mat. Even though I am short, I am a big girl and I’m glad to have purchased the longer option for the couple extra inches around the middle. It’s really nice to have the extra length longwise, too, bc I can tuck my arm under my pillow and still fully extend my feet on the mat so they don’t get so cold. Having the little bit of foam inside does make a difference and I vastly prefer it over a reg air mattress. Even though it can be hard to roll up, the clever air valves make inflation/deflation easier and the storage bag allows for a little extra space in case you can’t get it as small as it arrives. Wish it rolled up a little smaller, but the comfort is worth the extra space it takes. Well designed product! I wouldn’t want to camp without this pad and won’t be sharing it with the kids (though they tried to trade me!)
