To the touch, the Tek Towel resembles a classic cotton terry towel, but uses the properties of synthetic fibers. Made of recycled polyester and polyamide, it absorbs up to six times its weight and will be dry again in a short time. This makes it perfect for regular sports activities such as swimming, gym, indoor sports and more or for summer holidays in a tent. It has a terry finish with a long pile and is equipped with a hanging loop with the patent. It comes in a handy EVA foam zip case.

This towel is soft and bigger than I anticipated. It feels so much nicer than some of those paper towel/spongy camping towels. It is big enough to wrap around the body so you could use it as a beach towel, a body towel or just a face towel. I think it is going to be nicely absorbent. The orange colour is vibrant and cheery.

Similar to other reviewers, I found this "micro-fiber" towel to not dry fast, or even that slow. I think a regular towel dries faster so very surprised and disappointed that they advertise this as "dries fast" as it absolutely does not. The color also runs and will ruin your wash if you do not wash separately. I owned the prior micro-fiber towels sold by LL Bean and they actually dried quickly and were quality micro-fiber towels. This brand seems like an over-priced terry cloth towel to me.

This towel is great for camping, hiking, etc -- not sure about backpacking given the size/box-y ness of the container. It really came in handy during my camping trip to Yellowstone. It comes with a tab that makes it easy to hang up, which is efficient for drying the towel after its been washed or in general.I happened to catch some trout during my trip to Yellowstone, and was able to use one of the towels to support the cooking process. Afterwards I used my sea to summit sink to wash the towel, and hung it up to dry so that it could be used for other purposes.

I have received my towels but have not used them yet . I ride adventure motorcycles so I camp often on my trips . I am planning a trip to Alaska this summer so I will have lots of time to use them . I will be using a sleeping pad I got from you. Stuff sacks an compression bags. Bowls cups, cook pots ,pillow,I have been very pleased with all of your products
It’s an ok towel. I understand it’s a hiking towel but I bought the large and it’s small. Would buy the XL if I could redo. It doesn’t dry as fast as I thought and it still doesn’t feel like a real towel to me but it’s the better light weight feel towels I have tried. I do like the case and the inbuilt clip on the towel to hang and store as needed.
After spending a couple of weeks in Ukraine with one towel, I’m glad I brought this one with me. If you got the space, buy the more bulky one as the lightest weight one is like drying off with a piece of suede. That being said, the bulky, softer towels by sea to summit didn’t disappoint. It dried quick and soaked up all the water I could shake at it.
A bit thicker than the typical camp/hike style towels... Still packs down but not as small... Somewhat feels like a towel you'd use at home which is lux while camping.Mine came with a few thread loops pulled unfortunately (image with arrow) but I didn't want the hassle of a return process. The carry case it comes in is bulky however...it is not space saving in the least...I just roll the towel and use a strap to keep it contained as and I use the case to store bug spray and sunscreen aerosols :pI'm sure you could use a small compression sack if you needed to pack it down even smaller. I'd suggest a thinner towel for hiking, but for car camping or beach days it's pretty compact compared to home towelsPhoto reference includes a woman's size 8 foot for comparison.
This XL towel is 30 x 60 inches. 30 percent polyamide, 70 percent polyester. Don’t bleach, wash separately at first as color can leach out. The one I bought is lime green so that’s a good tip. Pretty thin. My wife wasn’t impressed I paid $ 10 (75 percent off at that) for a thin lime green towel. The towel comes with its own 10 inch long by 6 inch wide by 3 inch thick flexible plastic zippered case with air holes. I guess I’m lost on the reason to have it’s own case, but it’s a nice case.
We swim 5 to 6 days a week and this towel is much better than other tech towel brands which I have had. . It is very absorbent, I think because of the thick pile, packs small and light and very importantly dries very quickly. It washes well and is always dry and ready to go. I take it camping for the same reasons.
The extra large is a good size. The towel folds down into its case so it is reasonably small and easy to pack. It soaks up a lot of water and yet dries quickly. And it does not have that scratchy microfiber feel. Bought one for myself and one for my son for our high adventure trip to Alaska. We both enjoyed our towels and their packability.
