Bought this mostly for travel (it's so small and light I carry it in my Dopp kit along with toiletries wherever we go), but it's so handy I've also put it to use in my laundry room when there's an over-abundance of hang-to-dry items and our drying rack is full.It is adjustable in length using the lock-slider on one end, and it's super versatile in where and how it's hung. The little bobbles work as clothespins, but in our laundry room, I just drape things over to dry without using them.Super handy!

It holds clothes securely even in windy conditions, and is easily adjustable for hanging from various distances. It’s also nice that the stuff pouch acts as part of the connection so you never lose it. Tiny and packable. Well thought out design.

This is one of my favorite travel accessories. I take it on almost every trip and like to give it as gifts for new travelers. It’s easy to adjust the length to get the right size and configuration. Clothes stay on the line by sandwiching them between the lines and the beads or even catching a little bit of fabric in the bead helps them stay in place. It can serve to hold up a sheet for privacy also.

The first one I purchased was on a whim and I thought it a novel piece of gear that I'd never use, but it had a cool look so I had to have it. The first time I used it was in my hotel room to dry my socks after I went for a walk on a beach and got too close to the surf. Normally I like to have an item be at least dual-use, so to have a dedicated coil of line just to hang clothes on seems... at first... a waste.But it's good. Real good. And very small, so I just tuck it in my laundry kit.Having this dedicated clothes line prevents the following:-Wasting other line (like paracord) for a closthesline-having to carry clothespins-finding some other way to dry clothes, towels, etc.when I got the product home, I found that hte line had beend shoved in haphazardly and was quite tangled. I presume that since this came "off the shelf" that it was done that way by another shopper. I experimented with a smaller version of a "rapid-deploy coil" and it tucks inside the pocket just fine--and it is now easy to set up. put it back ... Love everything about this, wonderful addition to our camp gear. Easy to bring, packs up into it's own small case. Easy to hang from trees. No need to bring clips or pins as the beads slide together to hold gear on the line. Tried putting one towel on with the clips and one just hung/folded over the line to test it out - the hung/folded one fell off while the clipped one stayed perfectly in place. I am buying another to keep in my car. I never thought a clothesline could be so fun but it is! :)
Very compact, lightweight and easy to use. I contemplated purchasing this for a while thinking it was too much technology for a simple clothesline but I finally picked one up as a gift for a friend and one for myself too. So happy I finally picked it up. It saves weight and space of the cordage & clips I was previously packing for this purpose and the system for tying to the tree is so quick and simple and easy to tighten so it doesn't sag. I love many Sea to Summit products for their thoughtful design.
It does exactly what I was wanting it for. How many times do you go hiking and you need to hang something up to dry and you don't have anywhere to hang it or you don't have any pegs and it keeps blowing onto the ground!! Aaaagh!! Problem solved with this little gadget. Easily attaches to trees or shelters or hiking poles. No pegs required due to the great way you attach items to the cord. Excellent gadget to make life that little bit easier on your next hike. And it is so compact.
I bought this on a whim after trying to plan how to dry out our damp clothes at the campsite. (Hiking in FL can be brutal!) It worked perfectly and I have added it to my "must take" on all trips out of a suitcase too. It will work perfectly when we are cramped up in tiny AIRBNBs next spring in Europe for our sink laundry. The line is sturdy, and we were pleasantly surprised how much it could hold between 2 trees. Very lightweight and takes up only inches in our pack. THANK YOU!
Didn't work well for hotel travel. Hard to attach to the miscellaneous attachment points in European hotel bathrooms. Difficult to adjust the length for the varying dimensions of the bathrooms. The hook-based attachment scheme does not support the secure modification of length. I imagine it would be much better for backpacking and the like, where it could be attached trees or branches. The small size and weight are an obvious advantage, for all kinds of travel.
