This mat is great! Perfect for camping and camp-outs in the lounge room. Compact, comfortable and easily self-inflates.
The big plus are the « additional insulation » that take into consideration areas where indeed there’s a tendency to run cold. The type of detail that make a night as restful as hoped.
This is the one thing on my gear list I personally implore people NOT to get. My dad talked me into it because the self inflating feature seemed novel, but this same feature has made this “women’s” pad nearly impossible for two women to pack back down into its stuff sack — making it an every morning hassle to put away — and its quite large and heavy when it’s properly put away anyways! I’m sure some people have had luck with this product, but it has proven useless for me because I can't get it back to it's initial size, even with the help of friends! Better off with one of the fold up economy ones than blowing big bucks on this.
This is a thin sleep mat and does not offer much cushioning, but that is not the point. It is just enough to even out the ground and protect from rocks. Very lightweight and packs fairly easily into the provided sack. The self-inflate function just needs a few breaths to fully inflate, and the deflate valve keeps it from reinflating as you roll it to pack up. Also, it floats! Great for alpine lakes.
Packs small and is lightweight. It is a little more narrow (even for a woman) and I would suggest the regular size for more width.
Mattress is very lightweight and thick for comfort nights. Its length is enough to sleep on back or side (high 165). The repair kit is also included. Thank you!
The mat is easy to use, we just inflated it by ourself the first time, as it is recommend on the website. Once inflated, it is very comfortable and compact. Also, the mat is very small and light once deflated. Amazing purchase. I would definitely recommend the mat, especially if you need to pack light and has limited space.
