Excellent size, and very light weight. The collapsing sides increases its functionality and the cutting board bottom is very useful. I also love my matching bowl, that stores conveniently inside the plate. These are not only for my wilderness trips. I take them with me on all travels to avoid using disposables at hotel breakfasts or in other contexts.

Perfect size for larger meals. Packs small, and easy to clean. We have a few of the smaller sizes X-Bowls, but somehow trying to cram a large steak in there was tricky. These XL ones are the perfect size. I like how they can also double as a reasonably sized cutting board when you flip them around.

I love this. Sure I can use it as a plate as it is intended but due to the size, and height of the plate ridge I can also hold a pretty good amount of soup in this. I'd say this is less of a plate and more like a shallow bowl. It is a great multitasking piece in your camping gear. I regret purchasing my x bowl. Had I gotten this first, I wouldn't have bothered with the bowl and only got this plate and the x cup. I'd definitely buy the x plate again.
