Sea To Summit X-Seal & Go

X-Seal & Go is a range of collapsible food containers with airtight seals. The threaded lids are simple to clean, easy to use and offer peace of mind against leaks. When not in use each container collapses to a minimal height, taking up significantly less space when stored. A great buy

At the time I bought the medium and xlarge they were cheaper (~$21 total) than buying a nestled set, and the price applied to blue only. I intend to use as a cup and bowl/plate. The lids will help keep things warm. The lids have a gasket of sort and works well (I don't recommend this, but I, 140lbs, was able to stand on the medium, with the lid on tight, for a short duration) The two nestles snugly.

Excellent Concept, Design needs some improvement.

Definitely seems like they will be useable for quite awhile. The one thing I can't stand is sealing and opening this thing. Man, have your patience pants on-- and pray you don't have a pump in your forearms from a route when you need to eat. Just seems like this can be made into a MUCH easier process. All in all, I think these are the only product that is lightweight, collapsible, and sealable so nothing leaks out-- so you can actually carry good food with you. So, I give 5 stars to the concept-- I just hope they can improve the opening and closing design on the next generation of these. I would still recommend these though if you're looking for something specific like this. Definitely fit exactly what I was looking for.

This bowl works very well as a... uh... bowl, but comes up short in its packability and lid attachment. The bowl is well made and seems durable thus far, but I struggle to screw the lid most times I try. It's difficult to avoid cross threading the lid when the only thing to grab is the finger cutouts in the middle, but maybe it will come with practice. The silicone frequently wrinkles on me when I collapse the bowl, requiring significantly more effort to properly collapse than other models I've used previously.

Great to have on hand!

I love these small cups with lids that keep the inside of the cup clean in my toiletry kit when I travel and in my daypack for outings around town or as a tourist seeing sights away from home.Sea to Summit, please add “Travel” to the list of activities in which users might report using your products in reviews. “Travel” is even a primary product category on your website! Cups, bowls, utensils, dry bags and stuff sacks, packing cubes, toiletry kits, wallets, and ultra-light and compressible daypacks and shopping bags are all things many of your customers use when traveling and not just outdoor adventuring.

I love the X -
13 February 2022

I love the X - Seal line up. Use them mostly for day hikes, day paddles and mountain biking. I used to carry small plastic tupperwear type containers for carrying gorp, bits of cheese, left-overs, etc. Resulted on a lot of broken plastic and food spilled in packs. Recycling ziplocks for the same purpose made for a sad faced story as well as the bags offered no crush protection. These containers work exactly as they should and then fold up tiny when empty. Makes it easy to store them as well. Very easy to clean. As others have mentioned, you do have to be a bit careful to not cross thread the lids but is not at all difficult to do so.

I needed a collapsible mug for travel; I often make tea or coffee in my hotel room and was tired of carrying around a hard-sided mug which took up too much space in my carryon. Though the X-mug would otherwise be ideal, it does not come with a lid. I need the lid to keep the item itself clean - if it is going to be hanging around in my bag with my gloves, masks, souvenirs, tissues, etc. I need the part where I drink to stay clean, and I didn't want to have to carry it around in a plastic bag just to keep it clean. (So to be clear I did not want the lid for drinking; just to keep the item itself sanitary). Since the X-mug inexplicably does NOT have a lid, I bought this in a medium instead and it is good but not perfect. (So to be clear I did not want the lid for drinking; just to keep the item itself sanitary). Since the X-mug inexplicably does NOT have a lid, I bought this in a medium instead and it is good but not perfect. It is a tad too big for for comfortably drinking hot liquids, but the biggest bummer is that if there is liquid in it and it is sealed it will squirt out the liquid if you squeeze it even a little bit. It does NOT leak if you just turn it upside down or put it on its side - only if you squeeze it. Surely this could be fixed? If I could carry water in it in my bag without worrying about it leaking I would give this five stars. So even though it isn't perfect I'm going to keep it - it is the best option I have found so far, and I can make tea in it in my hotel room. I wish SeaToSummit would provide a lid for the X-Mug to keep it sanitary - even just a CAP or a stretchy cover to keep the insides clean - and then I would buy that instead. I love SeaToSummit products.

My go-to to-go
20 March 2023

I have the large one and I take it EVERYWHERE. Not just camping, I carry it in whatever bag I have on me at all times, because it’s so slim and light. It’s so convenient to have my own to-go container for food that I can just drop in my bag without worrying about a spill or a leak. I’m the type of person that always takes home leftovers from a restaurant - and this container lets me skip the non-degradable styrofoam and plastic that the restaurant would normally give me.I used it so much that I stretched out the seal. I messaged Sea to Summit and they sent me a replacement straight away <3

No more styrofoam containers for me!
12 February 2023

I have two x-seal containers / Medium & Small. The work great for packing up my leftovers when we go out to eat. Small enough when they're collapsed that I can fit both in my purse w/no problems. I usually end up being able to eat about half of my entree. The Medium container is perfect for the other half. I have the small container on hand just in case. The seal is tight / no leaking.

I got this for backpacking in the desert and also bear country. Best features:1) Can fit into my bear keg (even my little bare boxer) filled and sealed for soaking overnight oats or chia seed pudding in bear country2) Squishy enough to flip inside out to be licked totally clean after eating, which saves water when desert camping.3) Perfect for rehydrating my dinner (possibly too small for bigger/hungrier people) or for a cuppa (the rim hasn't been hot enough to burn my lips)4) Can be partially collapsed to hold a smaller amount of whatever you're packing when taking a day trip5) Really easy to clean6) Watertight seal works really well, so you can put stuff in and shake it around until its well mixed.Have used the heck out of this for backpacking and even ... MoreI got this for backpacking in the desert and also bear country. Have had mine 4 years, and gave one to my little goddaughter for her snacks (and also hopefully backwoods adventures when she's old enough). Quite durable so far, very excellently designed.

Use for leftover restaurant food; reduce waste
1 August 2023

I carry different sizes in my bag/purse and car and take them into a restaurant with me for my leftover food. I don't have to generate landfill or use Styrofoam, etc. These are wonderful. Please reduce landfill and turn others onto them. My friends always become interested when they see me pull out my own containers. Servers appreciate it also.
