This is a great filter system that only took a couple of hours to make a noticeable difference to the clarity of the water in my cichlid tank. The lift out filter basket makes maintenance super easy. I did need to add an extra layer of foam to the original included one as my cichlids are large sludge producers.

For a small tank (mine is 80L) this is a great filter.
Jury still out as I have only had running for 4 days. Build and Material excellent but it rattles.Quite a lot noisier than the aquaclear it has replaced. Some reviews say it will quieten. Will wait and see.
My favorite hang on filter, so quite and easy to use.No need keep purchasing replaceable parts for it.Best hang on filter around.
Great filter. Already have a 55 on my larger tank, which is why I bought this one for my new tank. Very easy to maintain and plenty room and options for filter media.
Great filter. I can’t really fault this filter. It’s whisper quiet (it will quite down a few minutes after first turning it on.), has a surface skimmer and is self priming. The basket is easy to maintain and there is lots of room for customising your filter media if you wish. It’s easy to set up and is Italian made with a sicce pump. Best HOB filter I’ve used. It should be noted that this model doesn’t come with an extension tube for the intake which some prefer., not a concern for me though. Highly recommended.
One of the best hang on back filters on the market. Filter media tray is extremely well built with a lot of space for any type of media. The lid acts as a drip tray when doing maintenance which you may think you won't use but trust me, its extremely useful. Added filter floss ontop of the blue sponge and below the bio media it comes with and i put sponge at the intake to shrimp proof it.The only con is the last point but its a very specific use case. Its hard to shrimp proof as it isn't the usual tube that hob filters have. It has 2 intakes as well as an opening down the very bottom. The slight buzzing noise is also a letdown for a filter of this price especially when using such a high quality motor from a reputable motor brand.
