I own two of Seagate 2TB external hard drives, they are easy to use and run fast with both my Macbook and my Windows PC. I really like the password feature as you can lock and unlock the drive depending on your preference. Highly recommend!

This has provision for password protection which I don't need but could be a good feature for some. It's quick to recognise the device across multiple computers and quick to load.

The first one I bought was defective so had to be replaced, which was a bit of a hassle. Replacement is fine but not quite as fast as I expected.

Easy to set up and so small and light. As I have an iMac I used Time Machine in the initial setup and it reformats the drive and I lost the program installed on it to password protect your data! Still trying to find out if it's possible to add this back onto the drive.
We have purchased five Seagate one-touch portable hard drives, to date and will ONLY buy Seagate. WD has been reliable but the others we have bought have failed, losing us much content and causing much grief. The Seagate drives are very affordable, although a trifle more expensive than some competitors but they do ship with their own cable some do not. Overall, the most VALUABLE feature of the Seagate drives is their consistent reliability. Hands down.
I'm very impressed with this product. Easy to use and it backed up all in correct folders. It gives a choice to drag and drop folders or back up the whole computer.
I was looking for a HDD for my Xbox and was going to purchase a Xbox branded one however, the girl at the desk recommended this as it's cheaper and it'll still work out. Glad i listened to her as it works fine.
