Every computer I have had this drive plugged into slows down to a crawl and will sometimes cause a BIOS post failure, or hard crash the operating system upon login. Would not recommend for any kind of backup storage.
Never buy this brand. It just stopped working and sent to a computer repairer and data could not be retrieved.
Very good product. Reasonably priced. Good value for money
