This was acquired for a backup purpose to my RAID5 setup (6 drives). I used it occasionally here and there to power up my other systems temporarily but was kept mostly as s backup hosting my backup files next to the RAID setup. It still is the backup, but I am planning to increase the drive size of my RAID setup (most likely from 8TB to 12TB or even 16TB if I can afford it). For that reason, I am going to be selling off all 7 8TB drives eventually one by one (I have to make the transition smooth so don't expect all of them coming out at the same time). For now, this will be the only 8TB Seagate I am selling. It will take a long while before I can list other 8TB drives. Anyway, it is priced to sell. It has been lightly used and in great condition, and the drive is newer (2018 March manufacturing date though I had it less than that). Please ask any question before buying. Thanks.
