Bought in the sale so pretty good value for money, and Seaslskinz quality is always very good. They have a think membrane built in between the layers in the glove so I am sure would be waterproof.I just couldn't live with the fit.If you have long thin fingers you are probably ok, but I don't. Consequently the fingers were quite tight, and when I wore them they made my fingers colder than any other gloves I have had, which sort of defeats the object.I returned them, and OutdoorGB service was first class.

Weirds sizing - I had an old pair of these that were great and fitted will so I wanted to replace them when they wore holes, but these are such a weird shape - the thumb is ridiculously long so it’s baggy at the end. Tried going down a size - thumb still long, but otherwise too tight. Tried from another seller - still long thumb. Very strange - they must have outsourced fabrication to someone else. Disappointing as otherwise great product.

Knitted woollen gloves which are waterproof. My brain could not compute that. Which is one reason I bought them. First tried out on an hours ride home in the rain. I've done this ride lots and in all weather's and have never got home with dry hands, until now. Absolutely fantastic waterproofing and they keep hands warm too. They come up a little long in the finger but being wool I can scrunch them down a bit so it's not an issue. The overall fit on the hand is snug with a nice long cuff, which is nice. In time I guess the fingers will stretch but that won't be much of a problem. I'm happy just knowing my hands are going to be warm and dry for the foreseeable. Sorry I didn't get them sooner.

So far I've used them biking in ~35-40 degree temps and they were very comfortable.I was impressed by their touch screen capabilities. It was like using my bare finger. When I took them out of the box, I was surprised by the material, and that it was supposed to be waterproof. I still haven't tested that, but so far they seem super durable.They also have long ends that more than adequately cover your wrists. The fabric of the gloves is really good, warm and waterproof. But the fit is very poor. Palm and wrists fit well but the fingers are far too tight and far too long. Almost 2cm too long. I have quite slim fingers so I am surprised about how poorly proportioned the fingers are. Not sure I can wear them with any comfort or have safe bicycle control with such tight and long fingers.
Having trialed these a number of times since the order arrived, they are certainly not warm, far from it. The first , the gloves.were comfortably snug, but by the second walk, becoming loose and baggy around my hands. Can't comment on the waterproofing, just not practical as warm walking gloves. Such a waste of money, a lot of money...
These are tagged as Mens gloves- but package says Unisex so one would expect Ladies to size down. Too say these run small to not begin to capture the bizarre shape of these gloves, I dont think an 8 year old could fit into these gloves. I ordered the small and see picture the pinkey fingers are 1.5 inches long and the index is 2.25 inches long. And the gloves are abnormally wide! I dont know any human that would fit Into these. Disappointed as i expect Backcountry to vet these products especially at this price point

I was looking for gloves that could keep my dexterity while being reasonably water proof. These will get wet eventually, but I believe I could have remained warm and dry for most camp and skiing chores. However, the sizing is weird, as many others commented on other sites. You need long, very slender fingers for these to work. I was almost going to keep them and just keep pulling them back on my hands. However, the palms are large and baggy. I am a girl, 5’3, 118 and bought a small.
materials are super ok, but they are small even if the size should be the right one, based on the size chart on the website. my palm is 23cm so size should be a 9. but fingers slots are narrow and long, so I end up having space at the end, with my fingers very cramped at the same time.I could bear with it if the price were lower, but with 41€ these gloves are not nice enough to wear. plus they should be "all weather", but when I use the scooter I have cold hand with 3 to 7°celsius outside.it's a shame, I really love the design.
