Trying to be on a low carb/keto diet and missing my pasta. Ive tried lots of substitutes but for my money this has great taste, good texture and better macros than fettuccine to boot! The edamame puts it in a class above the others.iHerb has much better pricing than the grocery store. If you are on the fence I'm telling you you've got to try this! I'd be shocked if you were disappointed! So easy to cook too. Bring water to boil add the edamame fettuccine and turn heat off cover wait 5 and drain. Here's a nice, chewy, al dente "noodle" that elevates all your dishes! I add cold to my tossed salads too!

I bought this with such excitement. It was literally like eating cardboard, not even chewy cardboard. Cooked it for half an hour. It got dente after cooling down. So rough on my stomach, personally it was a miss for me, or I just need more practice cooking these unconventional pasta types. I love the health benefits tho.

I wanted to try a new kind of pasta that was low-carb and not too expensive. It only has one ingredient, and doesn't take too long to cook. After I cooked it, I wasn't terribly impressed with the quality of the result, both taste and texture-wise. It was a bit bitter, and needed the butter, shrimp, and cheese I added to improve it. I can at least say was that it was better after it cooled down, and had a flavor and texture that more imitated what I liked in pasta. It was all right. I don't regret that I tried it once.
Not sure how they manage to turn one ingredient - organic edamame beans - into a nicely textured and very neutral tasting fettuccine noodle, but they do!! They’re high in protein and high fibre and an excellent replacement for wheat pasta! I highly recommend! P.S. don’t overcook them for best results! They cook very quickly, which is also a great feature! Plus they’re very cute! Lol!
So if you love pasta but don't/won't/can't imbibe it as much as you'd like, this is the perfect alternative. You get veggies, protein, and fiber in one dish. Does it taste the same? Of course not - just like turkey bacon doesn't taste like bacon, but it's still good. ;)1. Overcook TF out of it, period - helps a lot with texture.2. Salt the water FFS3. After draining it, unless you're going to consume it *all* right then (and maybe even if you are going to), drizzle light olive oil over it and toss it to prevent it turning into a giant massAgain - you're clearly eating this because you want pasta with the stuff pasta doesn't offer (low carbs, high protein, high fiber, veggies, etc.), but be realistic: it's not traditional pasta. This spaghetti was both fairly inexpensive and fairly easy to cook, and essentially contained only one ingredient. It wasn't too bad when you mixed it with some butter and enough cheese and seasonings, and it could approximate pasta if you're desperate to ditch the carbs. The taste was a bit bitter, but some refrigeration weakened that and made it taste better the next day. The texture wasn't as much like regular pasta as I wanted, but you can't have everything. It wasn't the worst-quality experience, and I was okay with giving it a try.
