Seasol Organic* Iron for Deep Green Lawns combines Seasol the Seaweed Solution with organic chelated iron to revitalise, strengthen and green your lawn. Seasol helps to promote healthy growth, a strong root system and reduces stress from heat and frost. Seasol Organic* Iron for Deep Green Lawns is particularly useful for lawns and turf that has yellowed due to a lack of iron in all lawns. Iron plays an important role in lawns and turf, including helping to provide that nice green colour. It also helps with photosynthesis and the creation of chlorophyll (the lush deep green colour). One of the problems with iron is that when it is applied by itself, it can react with other things in the soil and it is transformed into iron that plants can’t absorb (take up and use). Meaning that in our formula, iron is surrounded by a peptide chelate that keeps the iron in a form that is readily available for plants to take up and use.
