I've had my Sebo upright for over 12 years. Reliable and durable as can be.
I will be very honest these machines are superb i bought this same exact model fifteen years ago never once have i ever had any mechanical issues with this sebo vacuum all sebo vacuums have twenty five year life span they are really made to perform never have gotten any clogs and they never loose suction.
I had seen this advertised on a TV infomercial. I became very interested in it the longer I watched the promotion. I thought I could get a better price on eBay than the TV seller's price. So I checked out the eBay listings, and found one that in fact was cheaper, so I successfullyl bid on it. Now that I have owned it for a while, I can see that it is not nearly as effective as it was depicted on TV. This is all too often the case! It is okay for light duty jobs on bare floors or short nap carpets, but anything beyond those are too much for the Sebo G2 Upright Cleaner.
Seems to work ok but rather it be MADE IN THE US and not in china. Another piece that can easily be made here in the us.
I try to be careful when using it, as it seems likely to break if used harshly at all,, strings and threads really get tangled in it and it takes quite a while to unravel it,, nice concept but something that is supposed to clean floors and rugs should be built more durable
