Aesop Seeking silence Moistriser

I have bought this aesop moisturiser before and its very nice. I like Aesop but am limited because I cannot tolerate rosemary in products and sadly most of their moisturisers contain Rosemary except this one. Also my kind does my like antiaging products but want something light and it seems to work

Amazing for sensitive skin!

For context, I have combination and sensitive skin; I tend to suffer from angry red itchy patches of skin from time to time. This has been utterly fantastic at calming my skin down and providing a shot of moisture - my skin has never looked so glowy or smooth and my family have been commenting on how healthy I'm looking. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who suffers from dry and dehydrated skin, as I feel my skin drinks this up and I don't necessarily suffer from a lack of hydration. But if you have combination to oily skin, give this a go and you will not regret it, I couldn't be without it now!

Brilliant Cream for Sensitive Skin!

This has got to be one of the most underrated Aesop products. It smells like a treat, and glides over the skin and absorbs quickly. It contains squalane which is probably the reason why it hydrates well without clogging up pores or leaves any residue behind. I have combination type skin and have thoroughly enjoyed my jar. I've since tried out SR's tidal enzyme cream and I think will be alternating between that and this for my daily moisturiser.

Great moisturiser for delicate skin
26 December 2022

I was sent a sample of this interestingly named cream. It is a lightweight moisturiser with a light and pleasant fragrance, not overpowering at all. I don't have sensitive skin so I can't say whether it does relieve irritation but it does feel very delicate and soothing on my skin. I liked it a lot and will add to my wishlist!

Instantly soothing and hydrating
17 February 2020

I was very lucky to give this hydrator a go nearly a month ahead of the global release, and purchased my first jar as soon as it was launched. It has a very soothing and comforting effect on my sensitive skin, leaves a beautiful healthy-looking glow, and I love using it in conjunction with the Gentle Facial Cleansing Milk and the B & Tea Balancing Toner. My favourite part is the high content of Squalane and Jojoba Seed oil, both of which, to my knowledge and experience, are prime emollients for even the most sensitive of skin types since they very much mimic our skin's natural oils and have a low comedogenic rating. Overall, the one moisturiser I can always rely on, and wish had been released way sooner!

It is a very light and hydrating moisturiser. Absorbs perfectly and no greasy finish on the skin. Only need a little bit. It’s worth every dollar.

I really like the Aesop brand and this is my first skincare purchase. I've begun using it in the hottest week on record! So first my negative, I don't know if it was the temperatures or the usual product state but this almost required pouring onto my skin. However once on, it absorbed rapidly and didn't feel sticky or "heavy" - making it ideal for the weather. It has not affected my very sensitive skin. I noticed no fragrance.

Nice light moisturiser
5 June 2021

It leaves skin moisturised but without residue. Great as the first step prior to priming/serum. Very light and absorbent with a pleasant natural fragrance. My sensitive skin hasn’t reacted and feels soothed on application. A little goes a long way so I feel it’s value for money. I will definitely repurchase.

Not for me
8 June 2020

My face is going through a VERY SENSITIVE period so it’s hyper sensitive right now. Typically I have normal to dry , sensitive skin, with very seldom breakouts and when I do 99% of them time it’s product related. I didn’t find this product to be calming in any way. I could smell the fragrance right away and that’s not good for sensitive skin and this is marketed for sensitive skin. It has quite a few Essential oils and a majority of research has proven essential oils are not good for sensitive skin as they can irritate and cause inflammation. I should have read the ingredient list better. I returned this. I don’t know why companies can’t just make good products sans fragrance and essential oils. The search continues!

The best moisturiser for oily or combination skin!

I love how soothing this product is. I use it over the lucent serum at night or on its own over spf 50 during the day. Good moisturiser
