Beautiful dress watch, with amazing blue dial with the 5 logo visible when you rotate the watch. Small by current standard but perfect for work. Once I changed the watch band, it became a very elegant watch to wear at work.

Beautiful dress watch, with amazing blue dial with the 5 logo visible when you rotate the watch. Small by current standard but perfect for work. Once I changed the watch band, it became a very elegant watch to wear at work.

Nice little watch, very well built looks like a much more expensive piece
The watch is extremely good for the price, just my size at 37mm and surprisingly well finished with an attractive mixture of polished and brushed steel. Manual wind and hacking would be nice, but none of the entry level 5's have this and it is nice to see a glass back in this price range. Only real let-down is the bracelet which looks good but has rattly folded links and a flimsy looking clasp. Having said that, it will still be good value even if I buy a decent strap for it.
These watches are durable. My most recent purchase was the second Seiko Watch after nearoy 40 years with the first one !
Purchased on eBay. Arrived a week ago, 10 calendar days after being shipped from Hong Kong. Appears to be a genuine Seiko 5 - back of case has all markings as per Seiko5 Finder; face also has the markings as per Seiko5 Finder, except the dial is marked as 04L4, not 04L2. More accurate than expected - lost only 1-1/2 seconds in one week! As expected, the bracelet has many sharp edges and is a bit uncomfortable on warmer days. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.
I was looking for a non-battery operated watch, and decided to try the Seiko watch. It has proven very reliable stylish and an overall good looking watch, not only does it keep very good time, no more battery replacement. I'm very pleased with watch and it's performance. I would recommend this watch to anyone who likes the stylish features of Seiko.
