Small. Colourful and lends itself to customization with aftermarket straps or bracelets. If you bite your nails, this watch will help cure you, as the crown is small and seems to be recessed into the case. This is a good feature, as it encourages you to remove the watch from your wrist before you adjust it. This watch is not hand-wound. You need to wear it or put it in a winder to keep it going from one day to the next. It will keep running by itself overnight. You cant go wrong with a Seiko. Grab this one before they discontinue it, as the next level of Seiko entry watches are bigger and more expensive.

In my opinion this has to be the best value available for a new automatic/mechanical watch. It is good quality and keeps time just as well as alot of higher end watches. Another plus is the size. It's getting difficult to find new automatic watches that aren't clownishly large and gaudy. This one is a great, "classic" sized watch that will wear well on a variety of wrist sizes. It has a nice quality weight and feel without being too heavy. I do recommend investing in a good quality leather band (strap) as it wears more comfortably and in my opinion it improves the aesthetics of the watch. To sum it all up, this is a "working persons" watch for people who want a classic, time tested timepiece that is affordable and durable. Thanks Seiko!
